1. Correct. You only need to send in your passport and photos of you.haf07 said:So just received the letter saying: "Your application has reached the final stage of processing. So that your permanent resident visa can be issued, you must now submit the documents listed below." So basically will have to send the original passport along with photos.
I actually have two quick questions:
1- The documents (photos and passports) are requested for "accompanying spouse and dependent family members" as well. Shall I assume that since my wife/daughter are both Canadian that I should not send anything related to them?
2- In terms of sending the original passport does anyone have any experience of how long does the whole thing take to have the visa stamped; I am currently on a prolonged business trip so need to get an idea on how long I would practically be passport-less....

2. No definitive answer but it will be within 6 weeks. Check the spreadsheet for non-visa exempt applicants for an idea of how long they waited.
