Feaky Snucker, I think they heard you earlier!

Congrats on PPRs, I hope the rest of those waiting pre-March see their own PPRs soon.

Congrats Feaky Snucker! As another February applicant, I REALLY hope this means that they're finally clearing out some of the backlog. We contacted our MP who seems to be useless. I'm going to start looking up how to order the CAIPS notes (if anyone wants to give me instructions, or a link to some instructions, that'd be great!) Even though we're together, it's getting very difficult with just one of us working, and a baby on the way (and no healthcare to cover it!)

*sigh* My rant is over!

I cant believe it there starting to get to some of the older apps.Congrats to everyone that got good news.

Congrats to Feaky Snucker and ksd2210 on your PPRs! And to doctorkb on some movement on your account!

@ destanova, http://immigrationguides.com/content/view/207/110/

I was also wondering what phone number did people use to ask for the status of their caips notes request? I tried calling (613) 946-0953, and it always prompts you to leave a message, which I did with my info to call back, but noone did.

Just wondering what you mean by "the last batch is received." Anyway, I think that's a good strategy. What do you have to lose at this point, right? Good luck, hopefully it won't be much longer.

I hear you. I've decided that I'm going to file for GCMS notes the day after the last batch is received each time until we're done. At least this way, I'll have monthly status updates that actually mean something.

Basically, my fax asked that the medical record # XXXX for client ID XXXX-XXXX (Name) be forwarded to Buffalo Regional Processing Centre for inclusion in File FXXXX / BXXXX at their earliest convenience. I gave phone and e-mail if they had further questions.

I got the Medical Record # from the FOSS notes we got earlier in August and the B# was in our GCMS notes (we only had the F# before)

FYI in case it hasn't been mentioned. The F# appears to be the computerised file number, whereas the B# is mentioned in the GCMS notes as the paper file number (and the location of "Buffalo" is noted also).

Wow, congratulations feaky snucker! I'll second that comment about CIC "hearing" you out from the thread today. Very amazing. Maybe some telepathic CIC ghost was at work today.

Well, I figure it would be a little annoying if I sent in one request per week, regardless of how many are pending.

So what I'll do is file a request (done for the second time earlier this week), wait until I receive the (batch of GCMS) notes, and immediately file another request.

Since they seem to take about a month to process a request, this should mean that I have a monthly status report that is better than anything e-Cas could EVER give me. :)

I'm hoping, of course, that we get a PPR before this latest request has been processed. :D

Well, either that or they've figured out who we all are and read the post and put 2 and 2 together... it's not as though CIC doesn't know about this forum, I'm sure. :D

Congrats Feaky Snucker (love that name) and ksd2210. Thrilled to see Buffalo moving.

We send off our extra info a a few days to prove we are common-law. Boy have we learnt alot but that is for another post.

Again congrats it is wonderful to see people getting closer to the Canadian Dream (ice time anytime you want and unlimited beer).
