Tiggiliscious....2-3 weeks back I think everyone's address vanished, mine too. I think if I remember correctly after that you went into "In Process" or Medical Recvd? I am hoping for similar response, lets see!!

Yeah Buffalo-Toronto, we got medicals received. Hopefully soon! Our timelines were so close!

Congratulations Kess!!!!! :D

Congratulations Kess!!!!! :D

Other worrying this is, you got your AOR in end of JUne, I frankly have not got an email from Buffalo by themselves, I got my FXXXX by poking them again n again but nothing after that.

Mine vanished in this bunch, then magically reappeared the next day. I haven't gotten a single real e-cas update before or since then. Still at "application received."

Address gone here, too.

Well it looks like Buffalo is getting through the oldie-moldies!!

PPR!!!

You should hear something soon Chess!!

Kess!!! I'm so happy for you! That's awesome news :) Fingers crossed for me!

@QCSunshine

How do you find it so far now that you have been there for over 2 months now?

If i remember correctly you are in Quebec, where in Quebec? Montreal?

I'm planning to look for a house outside Montreal as I see they are cheaper (def. cheaper than Long Island/New York).

I'm hoping to get my file processed around October, as I have already a job lined up, faith and buying some patience.

Good luck to everyone.

Hi everyone. With sparkle's blessing, I'm going to consider making some tweaks having to do with highlighting on the Buffalo spreadsheet. As it stands here is it what the color coding means:

People who got their file transfered to buffalo :) but no AOR - Orange
AOR (File # received) - Yellow
PPR - gREEN

So even though I realize AOR is a big (and sometimes mysterious) issue, I am considering simplifying by removing the orange and just having yellow and green.

Give me your thoughts. If I get enough "go for it"s, then that's what I'll do.

I've been living in Montréal now for over a year (though not as a PR, I'm on a Working Holiday at the moment), and I absolutely love it! Welcome to the Québec club! haha :)

I haven't investigated houses at all yet, but I can definitely say they will be cheaper off the island, taxes too. There are a number of nice suburbs.

Best wishes!

francohoosier...it might be possible that applications for Quebec get transferred to satellite offices, I have seen 2-3 applications going that way. I might be wrong, it might just be that my file has been transferred too, haha

Well, we heard from our MP's assistant a few days ago. According to the inquiry she did on our behalf, two things stand out... *Background checks have not been initiated, and *Officer has not reviewed this file for a selection decision. I'm assuming this means I'm not even in process yet.

She also had less than kind things to say about the spreadsheet and this site in general. For example (directly quoted from email): "I question the expertise of anyone associated with the forum you shared with me..." and "I fail to see how desperate and annoyed people can possibly offer each other any support..." Essentially summing it all up with we're all just selfish whiners and need to get over ourselves.

This from someone who initially seemed incredibly helpful and interested in the December thru February debacle.

I'm so far beyond irritated now that I *almost* don't give a rat's hairy derriere what happens next. Ugh.

Maybe her boss told her to shut you down?
