Hi everyone....Okay i checked my ecas. And on friday it said In process for my husband's application and when i checked today it has vanished. What does that mean...???
I also wanted to know. When u log into ecase I am the sponsor so i enter in my information and everything shows up..Once it has gone to buffalo its not like i have to enter in with my husbands info right?

On Wednesday my lawyers had sent me an email of them requring some documents which i emailed them promptly and they forwarded that to buffalo. and then on friday it changed to inprocess and now its disappeared.....

Gods, I hope so. I REALLY need something (anything!) good to happen soon. :(
(Just good in general. If it happens to be immigration related, I will be ecstatic!)

Just out of curiosity...Do the officers in Buffalo get both the Canadian and American holidays off?

@karish1978, I doubt it means anything. E-cas is not very reliable for information, and some people, including myself, were specifically told that by Buffalo as well.

Hey everyone,

My wife (who has applied for PR) just received an email confirming receipt that CIC has received our application:

"UCI: XXXXXXX
Application No.: FXXXXXXX
Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.

This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Dear Amelia Johanna Siemsen,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2011/06/06."

But just two weeks when I sent in a case inquiry they confirmed with me they have already received the information and gave me both a F and B number. But now they send this email along with an UCI number.

Is there any difference between the response I got back from CIC and this one?

Thanks

YES! YES! Congrats! Awesome news!

It was exactly 8 days from my 'in process' notification to my passport request.
We just sent our passports to Buffalo this morning. We hope to get them back by 8/18 so we can get officially get everything underway!

Fingers crossed for you! Calgary is one step closer!

Added !

You had your AOR in may ? Your file was transferred to Buffalo on June 6, so I am a bit confused.

I received an email from CIC...that our Application was received in Buffalo on June 9th.
We new this already as noted in ECAS but got CIC's official correspondence this morning.
Is this our AOR?
If so, Sparkle, can you please update the spreadsheet?
Thanks!! Happy Monday!

Hi Mala16,

It looks like you and I are on the same timeline. We (my wife) got the same email this morning, but the weird thing is i sent them an email earlier this month as a general inquiry, they came back with a file number. So I do not know if these two pieces of communications are the same or they mean something different.

Hi CanuckofChicago,
We are on the same timeline!

I need to read a bit more on the forums. Our file number begins with an 'F'. I remember reading differences between the F and B file numbers. Also, I am not certain what an AOR is but I was just happy to get some correspondence.

Here is to a speedy review process!!

I wish I only had to wait 8 days from the in process change....we have been waiting for 3 weeks....and still nothing

No word back from e-cas on our case however a friend of mine works for my MP and made an inquiry on our behalf.

She got a response on July 18th, confirming that my wife's file has been created and "that the file is in the screening stages and is currently awaiting a routine security review." She also gave us a B#.

My friend told me to wait 8 weeks for further instruction and at that point she'll make another inquiry.

Good luck to everyone else.

Stay patient, stay strong.
