Thank you Kelly. Do you have any idea that how long will it take to get PPR after one's status change to decision made?

It all depends if they send it via email or regular post. I've seen anywhere from a couple days to 2 weeks!

I can't wait to find out if we have an interview or not! I wouldn't mind knowing so we can plan our summer vacation plans accordingly ;) Unfortunately, no one at CIC cares.

Any PPR?
Still no CAIPS!
Kerianne have you gotten your caips yet?

Alhamdulillah: All praise to God.

PPPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRR ..........Yesterday e-Cas changed to decision made and today i got PPR through Email......... suppper dupper excited......

Yippee!

We mailed our passports in on March 11. It was signed for March 14th. Our return tracker still hasn't activated. I'm a little nervous as we've now used up almost 3 weeks of our timeframe for landing and its not on its way back to us. The PPR says they generally have passports back to you within 15 days. It is unclear if that is 15 business days or actual days. I'm a little concerned, but hoping we will see it soon.

Did you send it to Buffalo or Ft. Erie, ON? I'm wondering if it's longer to send it Ft. Erie, although I see it's just over the border from Buffalo, so they probably go and pick them up there (although likely not every day). I just sent my passport to the Ft. Erie office this tuesday. I checked the tracker and it's in the Mississauga postal facility. I was confused when I first saw that, wondering why it would be in Mississauga, but I'm assuming that's a large postal facility and then it'll be sent on to Ft. Erie. Well, it made it from BC to Ontario in one day, so that's not bad. I will be anxiously awaiting the return tracker to activate like you, shortly.

I was guessing 15 days meant about 2 full weeks. I have a feeling they may mean business days though, which would mean 3 weeks. It seems some others got theirs back in about 2.5 weeks total (including shipping), if I remember correctly what some others have posted on here recently. It hasn't been 15 business days for you yet, so I wouldn't worry, and like I said, if you sent it to Ft. Erie, it might take longer than those sent to Buffalo directly. although both offices say the same thing - 15 days.

I actually forgot to write down my eye color and height when I sent my passport and photos. I emailed this information to them, so hopefully that'll be ok. I can't imagine they would return it to me without the visa because I forgot to do that! How cruel would that be?! But now I'm paranoid. Also, I'm paranoid that they'll reject my photos for some small reason, as I know they are picky about that. The guy at the photo place assured me that they were ok. Everyone who came in there was looking for immigration photos of some type or another, so I'm assuming he must know the rules well.

Well it looks like we have no bring forward date. Its also not clear what the hold up is. It MAY be that they don't have the medical form for my daughter, and it looks like they did not extend our medicals, so, I'm not sure if we should do them again or what. Guess I'll call on Monday see what they suggest, tho am sure it will be useless, they usually don't have any helpful information to share on the contact line.

Im also stuck in a medical situation, hubby got furtherance and completed it on Jan 8, and the embassy in Pretoria still hasnt received them. I called ottawa and they were kind enough to tell me that the status stil says incomplete. His original medz expired on Feb 20 and I dont know if they are going to extend them or not...seeing they keep sitting on them. I contacted my MP who noted that everything has been done i.e Back/sec checks just waiting for the medz. Ive emailed Pretoria tonz but they dont respond at all!! My best bet now is im going to fax Nairobi today and ask them to forward the results...they are probably sitting on someones desk or they have lost it. I wonder what that is. Anyways, I was just wondering if they extended your medz and for how long?

We have NO idea what is holding up our file. Our Bring Forward date was Feb 3.. we received our CAIPS mid-March. As far as we can tell his medical was top notch and his RCMP record check was clear. We are probably just still in a pile somewhere but it's hard to watch everyone get PPR when we applied in June last year.

Our CSQ came in the mail yesterday. I dropped it off in person on the 15th. So, two extra weeks - not too bad.

And now... we wait for Buffalo... and wait... The letter from MICC says they sent it to Buffalo on the 25th, but eCAS has nothing new, just "Application Received March 3rd".

Is the next step an e-mail from Buffalo? I've faxed Ottawa about the medicals but got no answer...

No everyone's ECAS updates consistently or at all. Hopefully it will when they complete the transition to GCMS. But don't stress about it for now. You are still early in the process. I'm gonna say the "dirtiest" word in immigration - patience!

OH MYYYY GOOOOOOOOOSSSHHHHH!!!

PPRRRRRRRRRRR!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I litterally just cried my eyes out and made about 20 phonecalls!!

Got an email on my blackberry that looked funny and almost didn't read it..thought it was a spammer. But I thought I'd take my chances...and sure as hell I GOT MY PPR! SO FREAKING STOKED!
