Usually you will receive a document in the mail indicating that they have it, when you get your letter with the bar code symbols from buffalo, I believe.
My medicals were received for example but never marked in eCas. Its sadly still sitting at in progress with no other notations.

Finally got my AOR today. ;D

Congrats! You're the third in the December group that I'm aware of! :)

Thank you, and congrats to you too! Here's hoping things speed up. :D

Congrats Juliet!!!

Well Congratulations everybody who got news. Nothing in my inbox both email and snail mail... :(

But with all this movement maybe they'll find my application under the stacks of new ones and remember to send me PPR ;)

Not sure about the Medicals received. I've been in process since Aug 2010 and my eCas only says in process .I never got an email regarding it. I think when I received my AOR it mentioned that they were received. Or I assumed. lol

congratulations to all who received news from Buffalo today I am hoping we will hear something this week our time lines are as follows sponsored spouse Nov 27 Approval from MISS Jan 18 received email from our Attorney stating file was sent to buffalo nothing else

How do we know if we're getting our PPR via email or regular mail? I'm starting to think, it could have easily been missed by email.... i.e. junk mail...

Does Buffalo issue PPR on Tuesdays? In looking on Trackitt and throughout these forums, it would seem it usually comes Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. :(

So did at least two others recently, one of them being Kenomee I believe.

Thank you all!!!! Just when I gave up, the PPR came... lol!!!

Pharoh... you should be next.

To all those people who are still waiting, please know you are always in our prayers. Wishing for faster processing.

My ecas still says "in process".

Hubby will take a 4 hours flight to Buffalo next Monday, to get the visa for Tuesday. I really hope he can get it the same day as his flight is at 7pm Tuesday.

He will land March 19th. The cheapest flight we found is for him to land in Seattle, and I'll pick him up to drive here in Vancouver. Would this be a problem? Instead of air directly to his port of entry, we will land by land????

That shouldn't be a problem at all, plenty of people land by land :). Good luck, and thanks for the well wishes!

Hello guys,
I'm curious as to when and how you found out that your interview was waived. They started processing my application on February 3rd and I still have not heard anything about whether they want an interview or not. Is this typical or is this a long time to wait to hear anything? Also, would I say online or would they email or send a letter?

Thanks.

It hasn't been that long for you yet. Either way, some people never hear anything and go straight from AOR to PPR. Others, however, are lucky enough to receive an initial assessment letter that usually tells you if they've received your medicals, whether they need anything from you and whether or not you need an interview at present. If you look at their timelines (those who've posted it in their sig or wherever), you'll find they usually got it after a month or so had already passed, from when Buffalo began processing.

As far as I know, they didn't receive it online at all. Likely in the mail, but I'm sure others who actually received it can clarify.
