Now would be nice. I can print out my resignation, load up my car, drive to Buffalo, and land tomorrow! :D

Oh wow!!!! Hoping for a Fast PPR! My hubby needs to take 3 hours plane ride. It would be nice if he have all his luggages with him to the buffalo office and land the same day. hahaha

Pharoh -

If it makes you feel any better, our application was missing things and it was still processed relatively quickly. Here's what we were "missing":

- PR photos (forgot to sign the back and add the birth date)
- missing the police certificate for one country (tried our best but couldn't get it)
- two other police certificates were over three months old

We were not asked to re-submit any of the above.

Sounds good Scylla but we want ours like right now!! LOL ;D

Thanks for the reassurance, scylla. And yes, now would be a great time for PPR!

We're at the hardest part of the wait, probably, and that's not knowing exactly when PPR will come. If all goes well, it could be anytime between now and two months from now, probably. We'll wake up in the morning, or return to our desks at work, and find that magical "Passport Request" email, and after that, life changes wonderfully immediately. We want that email so badly, but like every other period during this process, one needs to keep busy and keep his mind off this whole process. If that means taking a break from the forums, then so be it.

Oh no... and I just realized we did not sign and put the birth date on the PR pictures.
:( :( :(

Yeah - I remember that feeling! Waiting sucks. It's honestly just downright horrible and I'm so glad we're done.

The boards are definitely a great way to blow off steam and take your mind off the waiting! Especially since everyone here is either going through the same thing or has gone through it in the past. Misery loves company! :D

So I browsed around in the December 2010 thread and 3 people already got their PPR's!!! [1 from Beijing and 2 from New Delhi]
What on Earth is Buffalo doing???? :o

Heh if your worried about December, you should take a stroll through the ones from way way longer then that in Buffalo ;)

LOL Adetia!! So sorry...I guess I have to say I KNIDA feel your pain.

What's taking you so long? Do you know?

Some embassies request passports earlier on in the process, they still have to wait for their visas but their passport is requested earlier on than Buffalo. As well, I think New Delhi is one of the faster processing centres but I'm not sure.

I am also in that same situation, waiting and not knowing when the passport request will come. Fortunately I am with my wife at the moment, but I haven't been home in over two years. We're already getting ready for it by selling some of our stuff and watching it go out the door is making me antsy.

****... go figure, we get PPR and then the world ends.

*sigh*

look at my timeline... they lost paperwork TWICE... Buffalo has a reputation to lose papers and important one, so yes i was like you at the beginning and then i saw months pass without any news and you know what even my MP cannot get news he has sent a request of correspondence and he has yet to receive anything over a week ago... if it would have been that i asked his help after 5 months of no news i would still be in the dark.. they even lied to me that they had all the paperwork in an email they sent after an inquiry which they said to my mp it was "never received" 2 weeks after...

so again do not hope for any miracle you might be very disappointed in the end

oh and sorry i will be selfish i would to see my wife accepted before you guys/gals.. just a question of not being around this forum too long.. it's bad for my health
