We are both over the moon with happiness. Just celebrated our 6th month anniversary. What an anniversary gift!!!

WOW!!! Congratulations, CeeGee! That is amazing! I am very, very happy for you. ;D

Thanks, nyssa. I know our timeline is so brief compared to many on the forum, but, if more people start seeing quick turnarounds maybe that will help 'dial the stress down' for everyone! We all need some good news and some happy stories!

I can hardly believe the swiftness of the timeline. It is like a dream come true. So, here are the "facts, ma'am, just the facts" (for any old Dragnet fans still alive). My husband and I are both 52, met online last July, met in January, married in March (on our third date as a matter of fact). I was a widow, he had never been married, we both had no children, both lived in the same town (in our own countries) for 30 years, both owned our own homes, no criminal background, etc. I'm from America; he's from Canada. Our application weighed 3.5 pounds. I included every email, our phone bills which showed 1200 hours of conversation, every card, letter, stub, airline ticket, etc. I had never had a passport until I came to visit him. I had the application in four clear file folders with everything in it labled and held with binder clips.

Congrats on this very good news!!!

An update on my file...I e-mailed Buffalo yesterday afternoon. I have never received confirmation that my RPRF receipt was received, so I wanted to make sure that it wasn't lost in the mail (Xpresspost sent it...it has never been signed for...so I faxed a copy to each office on August 18th)

Buffalo replied to my E-mail this morning. They have received confirmation from CPC-M that the RPRF has been received.

What a relief! Now, waiting still for the final step of this process...the PPR!

They replied in less than 24 hours, so a good option if you're inquiring about something like the RPRF. :)

Hey if that's your B'lo immigration file number you should probably repost that without the B number in it. Just a heads up :)

Did anybody receive an update? (emails, PPRs AORs, etc.) ???

I can't get e-cas to load on my computer. Anybody else having the same problem?

I just wanted to say, thank you everyone for your support and best of luck to all of you and may you have a wonderful life in Canada!

I won't have much time to log onto these forums in the future, so I just wanted to say goodbye and take care :)

Thanks for catching that kerianne. I'll try to be more careful. I was just excited.

I've got news.
I sent my RPRF payment on August 16 by overnight mail. It got there on August 18. I hadn't heard anything for weeks. I just wanted to know if they got it or not. Finally last week I got frustrated and I mailed another copy. Still no response. I sent an email at the beginning of this week and still no response. Then last night I faxed the RPRF payment receipt to this number 613-954-8653 and the next morning I got this message. It was less than 12 hours for them to respond. She even said have a great day! What immigration person says such a nice thing. So civilized.

Hello Ms xxxxxx,
Received your fax from Sep 9, 2010 in regards to your Permanent residence(PR) application from Buffalo NY. Your medical results have been sent to Buffalo for your PR application.
You can contact Buffalo next week for your PR process.
Have a great day.

What a relief! Something is happening.
