Then last night I faxed the RPRF payment receipt to this number 613-954-8653 and the next morning I got this message. It was less than 12 hours for them to respond.

Received your fax from Sep 9, 2010 in regards to your Permanent residence(PR) application from Buffalo NY. Your medical results have been sent to Buffalo for your PR application.
You can contact Buffalo next week for your PR process.

What a relief! Something is happening.

1.If I understood right, you sent the fax on Friday and they get back to you this morning, on Saturday? Are they working over the weekend?
2. I sent the RFPF more than 3 month ago, they get back to me said received the payment but nothing about what you say that I can contact them "next week" How will you contact them ? And what will you ask?

I've got news.
I sent my RPRF payment on August 16 by overnight mail. It got there on August 18. I hadn't heard anything for weeks. I just wanted to know if they got it or not. Finally last week I got frustrated and I mailed another copy. Still no response. I sent an email at the beginning of this week and still no response. Then last night I faxed the RPRF payment receipt to this number 613-954-8653 and the next morning I got this message. It was less than 12 hours for them to respond. She even said have a great day! What immigration person says such a nice thing. So civilized.

Hey im kind of confused you mailed your RPRF receipt and got a confirmation for your medicals? Did you fax the Ottawa Medical Centre?

Once you are in process would you recommend phoning/faxing Ottawa about the medicals or is this something that Buffalo has been quite good about. Would faxing Ottawa speed up this process or would it cause any delays?

Hey, I'm not a Buffalo person anymore, but I got PPR from NYC today! It came in the snail mail to my parent's address. They will only use regular post to send back and forth from Canada so I may go to the US and send the passport from there... gotta discuss it with DH! But it's over!!!

Hey Sauga, what did you include in this fax? We received an email that we are now in process at Buff (Sep 7) but do you think this is too early to ask them to forward results? Can you explain a little more of your dealings with the RMC in Ottawa?

Congrats! I am happy for you but in the same time is so hard to see people who filled the applic. after me got PPR and I am still waiting .........waiting ........waiting and it's run me crazy.
