Happy Birthday!! E-cas got updated on my birthday to "decision made" for my husband. Let's hope it's a trend!!!!! I tell you it was one of my best birthday presents ever ;D ;)

My birthday wasn't that great..........actually I had my terrible birthday in my life last week.

Hi all,

I'm so glad to see all these PPR's recently!

Quick question: for those of you that sent your apps without FBI letters, when did you send those to Buffalo? Did you wait for AOR? Anyone just send it off with a Client-ID and Receipt Number and hope it got matched up?

you should wait until you get AOR. It comes with barcode stickers that you stick on the outside of the envelope to make sure it gets to the right place!

Yes, that's what I thought, too... But won't that slow it down, them opening my apps, noticing that it is missing, me sending it, them getting to my app again? Has anyone tried sending it without stickers?

silverbee, I believe that HeatherUSA did this, try sending her a PM.

I'm going to be sending mine without the b-file number and barcodes, unless things speed up SUBSTANTIALLY in buffalo.

Once I get the letter stating that my file has been transferred to b'lo, I am going to have my partner email them with a request for instructions on how to proceed. Our FBI clearance will be expired by the time we get the AOR from B'lo, I'm just sure of it.

I'd rather send it off and have them lose it, than to have it sitting here in the house until it expires, you know?? At least if I send it and they lose it, then I tried - and who knows? theres some kind of chance it will make it into the file properly.....

actually 10 days after some additional proof was sent with barcodes (without prompting), a letter was mailed to me saying that they didn't need an interview nor any additional information. So if anything, I think it speeds up the process.

If you mail it in without barcodes then its just sitting there waiting until someone opens up your file and could easily get lost in the meantime. this way it gets scanned as it comes in the door and put in the right spot!

Incompetent people at Buffalo - responded "yes" to my email asking if they had my husbands FBI letter - got a letter 3 or 4 days later requesting FBI certificate - I can only assume they have lost it or are just to stupid to put two and two together.

Dont send it in until you get the stickers... that is my feeling now... knowing they are a bunch uncaring jacka##es who dont know their heads from their butts and wont respond to our emails of concern that they have misplaced the prints.

I wish I had just stuck my husband on a boat and sailed him across the lake disguised as a Sri Lanken. He would be here by now... but OH NO, we have to do things legitimately and so we are penalized by a long wait.

IM SO MAD RIGHT NOW... Just in case anyone couldnt tell... ;D
