Hi guy I finally received an email from Detrio. They are asking for my police check from Hong Kong since I have been living in hong kong for over half year. The question is I have already done the police check in Decber 2011.

My visa office was Buffalo, and I didn't know that my file has been transferred to Detrio I am worrying I have to do the police again cuz hk police check takes at least another 4-6 week:/

Anyone has the same situation before?

How long does it take to receive medicals after the file goes in process? Is there anyway/ anywho to contact for that information?

Did they lose your police check? You may need to call or email Detroit to ask. Did you send it in at the same time as your app?

Every case is different.

Order GCMS notes and try contacting Ottawa Regional Medical Centre, although I personally did not have luck with the second bit. Buffalo asks for the medicals from Ottawa when it's ready.

I don't think Detroit has ever received my police check. I wasn't sent it with my apps. I sent it 4months later because I realized that hk police check takes 4 to 6 weeks.

I did the finger print in Toronto and send to hk at the mean time.
In jan 9,2012 I have received a letter from hong kong government stated that they have cash out my application fees and will start processing my police check. An send result to buffalo within 4 to 6 weeks time.

However, in February 15,2012 I received an email from Buffalo (I sent as email earlier asking for my file ) they said that my file has been transferred to Detroit. I am afraid my hk police check is received in buffalo after my file has been transferred because my file is no longer in buffalo and they will never able locate my file. And just put it in grabage bins ;(

I don't wanna waste another 2 months to wait ...
So I just emailed both Buffalo, Detroit and Hong Kong police. Wish I could heare their news very soon !

Hi all,

My husband is a canadian citizen and he has applied for my PR. I am an Indian citizen living in USA. They received my file on 9th Dec 2011 and got my File no and UCI no. on 1st feb 2012. When I log in to cic website it shows that they have received my file and " Medical results has been received". Can someone tell me how much time it will take for me to get landing docs?

My file processing center is Buffalo NY.

Thanks

Just because it's been a popular topic resently, anyone else have medical results received before going in process?

Yes, in my case, they appeared as soon as I could log into e-cas.

Hi, have a look at the spreadsheet to have an idea (I can't copy-paste links here but look for a link at the end of ddobro messages, or other champion members).

Ya but what's the next step?

When will I receive my landing doc? any idea?

I believe that was a reply to Krista.

As for your landing documents. There are many steps they have to go through for processing and current application times (which can be found on CIC's website) for Buffalo can be upwards of 11 months, but some have gotten it as early as 4.

You will receive landing docs after you receive PPR. You will receive PPR after the immigration officer looking at your file makes a full assessment of your medical admissibility, your criminal admissibility, your security admissibility, the genuineness of your relationship, the admissibility of the dependents accompanying you to Canada (if applicable), and cost recovery is complete.

Thanks everyone :) today has been an interesting birthday! We got our photos done and those and our passports sent UPS with a prepaid UPS envelope included. I cannot wait to be done with this.
