I see from your timeline that you/ your partner had an interview back in September. Was your partner a non-US citizen but applying through Buffalo?

thanks, so I called, and they said they have input the RPRF receipt into the system. Anyone know how long it takes for them to notify LA and when can we expect PPR? Just want this process to be over with so bad...

we were the exact same dates except for PPR. I got mine Jan 16.

How did your visa get issued so fast after ppr?

Are you guys having your address on e-cas when tracking with the sponsored person's UCI.

Mine is disappear since Jan27,2012. I have read some post in other Chinese forum, they also talked about the address disappear.

some people say they are having regular system maintenance, and some people have made an analysis (including all kind of PR applications) they have

collected information about Hong Kong, Beijing and Buffalo Visa Office.

What they have are when you are having a long address disappearing (3 or more weeks) that usually means your file is being transferred, or there is

some problem with your file, when address appears again your case will go to next (internal) stage.

and When you have a short address disappearing after the long one (1-2 weeks) your status might change, maybe medical required, police check required or ppr. (when ppr some ppl e-cas status still "application received"

But every time when your address disappeared your file is being touched by someone in the VO.

P.S. Beijing has their own tracking system before, they are more details and accurate tracking system, when case going to different stage they

used number to represent it. May be other VO like Buffalo doesn't have these checking system that's why they are using the address stuffs.



I don't know is that true, but I don't think regular system maintenance would go that long and some ppl still see their address on e-cas!!Let's see what will happen when next time my address appears and we can tell if the analysis is true or not!

I think I know how you feel atm...I know there are ppl who sent their app earlier than me and still waiting...But I just couldn't help...they just simply leave my file in the dust without requesting / questioning anything from me...it's been there untouched since its there...

Yeah im in Canada I actualy just got a 6month visitor visa when the wife and I drove down to Montana a couple weeks ago.When we came back thru I asked to get my passport stamped and they sent me inside to immigration.The officer gave me the 3rd degree but in the end gave me a visa and was realy nice.

Did you get a visa or a visitor record? I only nit-pick because they're actually two very different things and it tends to confuse people when the proper phrasing isn't used.

Mine is disappear since Jan27,2012. I have read some post in other Chinese forum, they also talked about the address disappear.

I sent my app in may, received aor in August 2011...I don't have my app in process as well...

possibly yours is taking longer because the meds were not sent in with your app?
