Be there very early for oath? Or any other planning advice, please?

It was rather amazing, given that our new PM was sworn in not two hours prior, taking the same oath himself! I arrived an hour early at Surrey Central City, and we got lattes, and headed over to the concrete steps up to CIC. There were citizens steaming out from the 8:30 session at 9:30. I was...

Be there very early for oath? Or any other planning advice, please?

Thank you so much! One more question, please. Do they immediately whisk us away from our family member/s? Just curious. I suspect so given the test regimen (which I am not at liberty, of course, to disclose details of as per their instructions). Thank you and congrats to us all!!

Be there very early for oath? Or any other planning advice, please?

Hi, All, Sorry if this is a repeat. My oath is tomorrow, and I'm super type A, worry-wortish around timeliness. Any advice about amount of time needed to get in line and do the pre-oath registration (if there is such a thing) for the big day, please? I'm sure I'm just looking for concerns...

i called today but the nice guy wasn't budging with so much as asking for my Application number to look me up. He just reaffirmed that my next receipt will be in the mail, and an oath invite if I saw Decision Made without further documents request. Congratulations!!

    Surrey Applicants 2014-2015

My ecas changed to Desicion Made on Oct 8. My question is how have Surrey people of late been notified of their oath dates? Snail mail? Email? Only ecas? My ecas still only shows my test invite and CIT 0520 request from July 3. No oath though I feel 99.99% sure that since they only wanted my...

    March 2015 Citizenship Applicants

I had very limited time to prepare for the test, but I downloaded the audio file of the book, and listened to it constantly (in addition to having read it 3 times, and taken all of the practise tests I could find at least 3 times). I also watched the news (The National, CBC) to create context...

Citizenship test Oct 5th , How to prepare in one week?

I was informed while on vacation in New Zealand for two of the three weeks notice they gave me. Read, read, read that book! Take the tests once or twice, and download the audio book to listen to all free times you have. I got 20/20. Best of luck!
