I became a proud and relieved Canadian citizen today! It was amazing hearing our new Prime Minister swear the same oath before we left. So happy that my saga of citizenship is complete! Thank you to all of the forum members for your advice and help!

Update! My oath invite came in the mail! Nov 4!!!!

Amazing news! My wife got the mail today and I will take my oath Nov 4!!!!

i called today but the nice guy wasn't budging with so much as asking for my Application number to look me up. He just reaffirmed that my next receipt will be in the mail, and an oath invite if I saw Decision Made without further documents request. Congratulations!!

I had very limited time to prepare for the test, but I downloaded the audio file of the book, and listened to it constantly (in addition to having read it 3 times, and taken all of the practise tests I could find at least 3 times). I also watched the news (The National, CBC) to create context...

I was informed while on vacation in New Zealand for two of the three weeks notice they gave me. Read, read, read that book! Take the tests once or twice, and download the audio book to listen to all free times you have. I got 20/20. Best of luck!
