Oh, haha, I meant I called them on their bs (I pointed out that I knew they were bs-ing me), not that I actually called them. I don't know of a proper telephone number (though I think Ddobro2 may have said something about that recently), and so I only communicated with them via email.

well its been a year this month for me since I applied.Actualy longer if you count when I first sent the app In back In Nov 2010.I dont think the In Process means anything because I have been In Process for 5 months.Think about it Ive been In Process longer than people have subitted there app.Theres people that have been waiting longer than I have even.It just burns me when people start complaneing about there app and its only been 3 or 4 months.If your haveing a hard time with it now than its going to be realy hard if you have to wait another 6 to 8 months.Sorry for the rant its just one of those mornings.

I think I know how you feel atm...I know there are ppl who sent their app earlier than me and still waiting...But I just couldn't help...they just simply leave my file in the dust without requesting / questioning anything from me...it's been there untouched since its there...
Ps: Are you currently in Canada as well?

I think you've stumbled upon the wrong thread. We're all being sponsored for PR by a family member (I think at this point it's 100% spousal sponsorship) on here. You won't find any other FSW applicants on here. You're welcome to stick around if you like, but I don't know how relevant our conversation(s) will be to your situation.

I don't know why someone would want to read our posts here if it's irrelevant unless they're 'sadomasochists'. Because all they are going to read about is how frustrating the whole immigration process is for 'some of us'.

Hey guys, anyone have any experience as to how long it takes for CPC-M to acknowledge your receipt of the RPRF receipt? I sent ours in Jan 20, arrived I think Jan 24 or so. LA only gave us 30 days to pay the RPRF. What if it takes CPC-M longer than 30 days to process this?

Hi all, just a quick question...my e-cas was updated yesterday to "medical results received"...is this a pretty good indicaton that Buffalo physically has my file on hand and someone there has actually looked at it in order to attach the medical results to the file itself? If so, that's great to know!

Usually. But it's not an indication of how long your app will be "in process" for. Some have had their PPR before ecas even says "medical results received".

Thanks cantor! So far e-cas has been pretty reliable in my experiences with it...hope thats a good sign! Good luck on your application, your ppr should be arriving anyday now since LA seems to be pretty quick!

I am in Toronto, I have visitor record....didn't apply for work permit in 2009 after finish my master degree...
Me and my wife have been living together since 2006, never seperated for more than a month...travelled a lot...etc etc...I think everyone thinks their case is straight forward when they apply,but that doesnt mean what vo thinks...and I don't think that has nothing to do with processing time.
Btw I am a Chinese citizen...I think that means sth. They might deal with us citizen's cases first, since buffalo is in us? I'd like to think in that way...cuz for me I should've sent to Beijing...
Btw I hired immigration consultant to prepare/organize our documents.
If I did send my case to Beijing, i might have a result long long long time ago...buffalo vo sucks. They don't have any certain rules or orders...which make me go nuts!

I got another visitor extension, and getting my 3rd notes in couple days...I will fire at buffalo with all 3 notes and 2 visitor extension. I don't give a ****about what they reply, I will just tell them how patience I was, and how they responded to my patience by doing nth to my case for 7 months!

we are in exact same boat and almost same timeline. the only thing that has been done to my app is the criminality check, and that is it, and btw I am not a US citizen, which is the reason I have to wait so long I think. My wife will be seeing the MP next week and then we shall see what happens next.

Hi nhl1011 and Veronica, I am in the same situation as you are guys, I sent my application to Mississauga May 19, 2011, and Buffalo received my Application July 11, 2011, I got my AOR August 8, 2011----- my e-cas still states: we received your application for pr july 11, 2011, medical have been received - that is all- no "in Progress".
What I noticed is that we are all in Canada now, I am in Toronto and I have post graduate work permit. Do you have guys lawyer or you sent on your own?

Been waiting since May and VO told me I should here something soon as it is in queue for review, OMG that is one long f....ing queue , caz it has been over 2 months now,and I will hit the 9th month in a week or so.

From personal experience my partner's application the acknowledgement from CPC-M to Buff took about a month. You could always call the hotline to see if they've received your payment.
