Wow, things are rolling along on here. While I still don't have PPR, I got an e-cas update from the e-cas tracker saying, "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Hmn, very unusual to get "decision made" before PPR. I'll take it though.
Wow, ddobro, I think you're getting close to getting some news from Buffalo!

7.5kg for our documents. :)
Did you seriously send a 7.5 kg package :o? I'm just curious what type of evidence you sent. Mine was barely 1 kg.

There was a thread about a year or so ago where members posted pics of their finished applications. Some were quite thick.

haha, would love to see some of those!

We submitted our file the end of August? but just paid landing fee last week.
When we will have PPR? :(
Nobody can tell when anyone of us would get a PPR. Just joing the club!

Can you the PPR package via US courrier to Buffalo, and have them ship it to your sponsor's Canadian address?

It's too expensive to fly to Buffalo this week (and it's not worth spending next week's fares from Seattle to save a couple of weeks on the COPR return).

Anyone have an opinion on sending in the copies of the passport with the docs, AND travelling to Buffalo to see if I can get it sooner with my actual passport? Would they care if I "guaranteed" myself this way, and just discard the post I sent if I obtained my COPR directly, in person?

You can't do both. Read the instructions again, but when I read them in December it was either/or. They specifically said if you sent your passport in by mail do not come in person to collect it as they will not give it to you.

Fingers crosed your PPR comes by the end of the day then!

I'm hoping for the end of the week, but by the day would be great too. Thanks :)

HAHA~~~~ somebody was questioned about 7.5kg before as well, they thought I sent my BB in that package. :D I hope I could have a BB as soon as possible. :)

We print out all email, msn history, my blog record, bank statement, cellphone statement, photos (around 300 photos), greeting card and letters from our friends, our love story (My husband and I wrote it separately, around 13-14 pages for each one), etc.

The pity thing is we just sent our additional documents to Buffalo last week, but i got the transfer email today. hope Buffalo could forwarded those docuemnts to NY, otherwise, we will send it again by fax or email.

I'm sure they'll look at the additional documents, and be like, "what? there's more?!?" Seriously, I'm sure it'll get forwarded to NYC (which will say the same thing) and the good thing is that the satellite offices do, I believe, finalize the files sooner than Buffalo. You guys sure are thorough though. :D

Possibly one of the reasons I might have a decision made and no PPR is that they're going to send me the COPR directly - which I believe happened with throwmyapples. I do think that I had a copy of my passport bio-page as part of the application, so that's also why I'm thinking that. We shall see.
