I'd kill for random tracker updates. Feel so un-loved... lol

I did get a little thrill to at least see a new email from the immigration process. I knew full well it wouldn't be anything new since there are so many people ahead of me here who still haven't seen movement this month.

Come on CIC!

i am getting ghost updates, although there is no change, get really excited ,lol

So, I got an ecas tracker update today. It says my application became in process Nov. 7th. That's the same day I got my PPR email. Too funny!

My ECAS switched to "In Process" on the 31st of October. I landed on the 29th. :)

I'm waiting to see how long ecas takes to change to "decision made"... if at all!

Just a couple of things to add to my visa pick-up journey yesterday. They returned my big old envelope of photos, which I really wasn't expecting. Also, I finally got my #Bxxxx file number, and only because it was written (along with the #Fxxxx file number) on the envelope of photos. The #Bxxxx isn't even on the COPR! So I'm assuming this means the #Bxxxx number isn't the important one, and only receiving the #Fxxxx is good enough... The mystery rolls on, I suppose. ::)

That makes me feel a bit better that mine hasn't updated since July! Haha.

e-Cas still says the application in Buffalo is "In Process" as of October 4th. Obviously looking at my timeline something is amiss. ;)

No new PPRs this week? >:( ::)

Apparently not. Sigh. Fingers crossed that next week is our week! :)

Not surprised, ridiculously enough. I know they're also working on FSW and TRV stuff and all, but they might as well have just observed Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day today since we don't see any results from them anyway in the form of passport requests. And next comes American Thanksgiving, which they'll be closed for, and then I'm sure people will start taking time off for holidays so that'll be just dandy in terms of waiting longer.

I randomly started reading some of the initial posts on this threat just now (me, bored? why would you ask? ;)) I saw one poster mention that she and her conjugal partner had sponsorship approved in 1 mth, then her PR approved 2 mths later. It took them at a total of 3 mths to get her PR. This was just in 2010. I thought people who got PR in 5 or 6 mths were lucky, but a 3 mth total turn around time? That's just near unbelievable! ::)

There were a few people with similar timelines in early 2011. Basically, if you sent your package to Mississauga in Feb or Mar, you stood a decent chance of an approval that quickly.

If you look at the Family Class tracker at trackitt.com you'll see that there are some people that have received it in about 18 days. Yes, they are the exception and basically it was an "oops" on the part of CIC... but seriously, should we be at all surprised?

As for us, Buffalo has had the passport for two weeks now. (Literally, had it. It was delivered there 14 days ago). Our return envelope's tracking hasn't activated yet, either... but you know CanadaPost -- they're about as consistent (perhaps less so) than CIC.
