Yeppers, 1 month has been the norm (actually, there were even cases of sponsors approved much earlier) up until June when the time for step 1 had doubled (and remained there ever since), and I recall seeing on the spreadsheet a total processing time of 60-something days. If it weren't for this forum and trackitt and keeping records like we do, I think CIC wouldn't have its butt put to the fire as much as it does. Whether justified or not, people really do see these radically faster case processings and become even antsier given the contrast with their own wait time. I'm one of them and I totally don't blame them, obvi.
