So they want you to come back on February 21 when you've officially "celebrated" 11 months to the day that Buffalo received your application? ::) Are you going to be away from your spouse for the holidays?

Just finishing calling both ATIP and FBI office for our second set of notes n Fbi check only to hear that backlog scrap. Anyways the MP assistant did nothing but just only signing the 11months waiting time. We would have been more happy if he will do a followup and get some update from Buffalo yet we never had from him. It not just getting easy as Christmas is just about 45days away lol.

What do you mean your second set of FBI notes? Did they reject the first ones?

Also, your MP's office can and should get you a proper update. It may take some pressure from the voting citizen, but it's bs that they can't do anything during the inital 11 mths. Sure they might not put any pressure on Buffalo, but they can at least give you an update as to if your file is complete/missing items/interview waived, etc. Though, from some stories that people have told on here, even when they do that the info they give is not always accurate.

We have no plans yet maybe in summer...Just that my fingers hurts from been crossed since January lol. Can't wait to receive best Xmas gift ever this xmas i know Santa is listening tho.

Okay, I realized that I am still completely confused about your timeline. It was lost when you first submitted it (by whom? CPCM?), then you submitted it again, and then it got to Buffalo March 3?

Basically the second FBI check was to just be proactive just incase they request for it. Yes we had some missing doc but it has been submitted over 2months yet is like we are begging for a file for be completed despite Interview was waived and medical has been received. Checking emails every first thing every morning is really silly..lol My husband will like laugh and say immigration madness

Oh hey, I found someone I dislike more than the CIC today! Stupid U.S. Federal Student Loan Servicing. Ugh. Seriously not a fan of government workers today. >:(

Yes kind of lost or misplace somewhere between Canadapost and CPCM not sure what happened only to get it in a mail as a returned to sender. Luckily for us so we resend it immediately to CPCM. Received by Buffalo in march

It's really not worth the time bcos most people just thinks they are hard heads. Most govt staffs are nice, i think it just depends on the person you meet or talk to on phone. I experienced such too on Tuesday at the DMV center just bcos i need to get my Drivers Licence. Infact the lady was terrible.

Does anyone know when we are supposed to get the AOR? I am sponsoring my wife, who lives in San Francisco. CPC-M mailed me to let me know they transferred our file to Buffalo Oct 28. I haven't heard anything from Buffalo since and also there's been no update on e-cas (it just says "Application Received." All of our stuff has been included in the original packet (medical, photos, documentation of our relationship, forms, receipt for fees, etc.)

It's not so much that I'm mad at a particular person. I try not to get upset with the customer service people, since I know they're not processing my papers, etc. It's more the inefficiency on an organizational level in general that gets me.

I never got an AOR, like a lot of people. I'd say give it a month if they just got her stuff, then email them asking for one.

Mailed my husbands passport yesterday to Buffalo and it has arrived at its destination today !! Yahooo! :P

It took two months for us to receive AOR after the file was transferred. But that was last year.

Visa successfully obtained!

I went in person. Nothing I can really add to others experiences with going to HSBC. Got there at 7ish, was done by 1030.

I'd write more, but I'm nursing a fantastic migraine. Yay for crazy weather changes! ::)

Landing on the 17th... Almost done!
