sometimes it is so disheartening to see people from other visa offices like manila and london get progress before us.....we have connecting borders for crying out loud! it shouldn't be so difficult!!!

Feb 22, but thanks to the IO for giving us more time to prepare despite requesting we should not send any Doc but bring them with us.
Ok, that's great! Then in your case I wouldn't be concerned about changing your adress now. I doubt you'll be receiving any important communication from Buffalo between now and your interview. Plus you'll have a chance of mentioning this to the interviewer on the spot.

You know the strange thing I find with them transferring it to Seattle because applicant is from Georgia which is on the East coast. So far people were having their files transferred to offices close to their home address.

Quince .... My husband is from Georgia but he is visiting in BC since June. He was approved for an extension of visitors status . We sent our package Outland , thinking he was going to go home after his visit. They approved him for a visitor extension. I am just as surprised on this speedy sponsor approval. When we started this process I thought it would be over a yr. After seeing everyone's wait times on this forum. I wonderif the changing of politics is playing a role in all of this. Maybe they are starting to speed things p for everyone. ....one could hope.

We applied in August, our app got shipped off to LA in mid-Dec and we got RPRF request last week. I firmly believe had we paid our RPRF back when we applied, we would've already gotten PPR. Mel-R (who also was transferred to LA) I believe had the same timeline as us (faster by one week I think) and got PPR the same day we got RPRF request.

My wife currently lives in San Francisco.

This is good news....We paid all our fees upfront as well....and we sent our app in Sept so Quince....here is hoping for us next!! we are almost there!

Indeed, paying all fees up front is important if avoiding any and all delays is more important to you than parting with the five hundred dollars early.

When did you apply? I thought Buffalo does not have any interviews usually?

You're entitle to your own opinion but you can still check the timeline at signature Ddobro2 for preview interview bcos every case is different.

The reason I am asking because my husband is on F1(Student Visa). So I just wanted to compare the timeline. I think we will ahve interview as well. When did you apply? I could not find your name. We applied in August.

Just like i said every case is different so you guys mean't not need any interview pending on how the IO viewed your file and how much document you guys provided. Yes we applied in Feb 2011 and have been waiting like forever almost a year now.

Mark5 is not the only who has an interview at Buffalo. Another forumer Arion1 had his interview in January 2012. Here's the link to one of his threads: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/what-is-the-next-step-after-interview-t93725.0.html
He seems to be from Tunisia.

Where do you see that he is from Tunisia?

I just read that again and sorry it's bilbol1 who is from Tunisia. I was probably confused because yanik34 was actually asking Arion1 to share his experience and bilbol1 from Tunisia replied instead of actual applicant from NY :D
