Janamay1967 I understand your frustration at the process but as a person who have migrated to both countries I can say that the process for Canada is certainly easier and shorter than the USA the only comfort one have applying for residence in the USA as a permanent resident is if you are being sponsored by a US Citizen, but if not be prepared to wait for years and certainly dont even think about common Law or conjugal no such thing.
