Congrats all who have received PPR! Seems like Tuesday is the day for Buffalo!

Don't worry valy79 - I never heard of anyone getting a decision made on ecas that was negative (esp. since you didn't have an interview or anything). You'll most likely get PPR a few days later via mail. Although, for me, I had everything via snail mail and then for PPR, I got an email (same day as the ecas decision made). You could still get an email later today. My emails were 5.5 hours apart (although at 1am for ecas tracker and 6:30am for ppr, I got them both in the morning when I woke up).

So, you see, they are definitely not consistent. But we all know this. And yet we try to make sense of it all and predict. I was always doing this. It's been 2 weeks now since I sent in my passport (12 days since they received it) and I'm wondering when I'll get it back and so I try to see how long it took for others so I can guess. The return tracker has not been activated yet. For others it seems to take a little more than 2 weeks total from sending. But I noticed that adetia9's was a longer wait.

Valy79 Keep positive.. I know its frustrating to see things happening fast for others and you having to wait, but look on the bright side of things you have not been denied just delayed you may still have good news today

Sounds like you will get a PPR soon Valy79!! I've seen your case happen a few times (well similarly).

Treelover I'm in the same position as you. Although I sent mine to Fort Erie, and I think that Adetia did the same thing (but can't remember). I believe it takes a couple days longer if you send it to Fort Erie. I'm assuming since they have to communicate with Buffalo??

Jessibee- I got my IA and I think it was like 3 days later that I got PPR..so keep your eyes peeled! :o lol

Congratulations to all others who got news :)

when did they receive your passport, kerianne? Mine was sent on 3/29 and received 3/31. I sent mine to Ft. Erie too. I was hoping to land by 4/21 or so. Did anyone else recently send their passport to Ft. Erie besides adetia9?

congratz to those who got PPR!!

Don't worry, Valy! It will be good news for you. :) My eCAS didn't get updated to decision made... just a PPR. And we have had other people on the forum who got "Decision Made" and then the PPR a few hours later.

I agree. Since you haven't been called in for an interview or anything, your "Decision" will very likely be a positive one.

That would be AMAZING! I'm not going to count on it being that simple - but it's hard not to get my hopes up that it will be soon! After 10 months of waiting and wondering.

Oh! I was just rereading some of the stuff they sent with my PPR. When I mailed my passport I forgot to include a note with my height and eye color! Do you guys think they can take that off my PR application, or should I send them an e-mail?

PPR! Going down to Buffalo on Tuesday!

I'm assuming you mean next Tuesday... Good thing you didn't pick Monday (18th). It's the first Sabres home game of the Playoffs, and the HSBC building is DIRECTLY across from the arena. It will be CRAZY down there! ;)

Oh my. We are going on Monday night, but we'll be at the HSBC building Tuesday morning, then back to Toronto on Tuesday night. My fiance has finals next week so no time to do sightseeing. Oh well.

I did the same thing! I was so worried about it too. LOL I emailed them and told them (general inquiry email). I never got a response other than the automatic email they send. Later on, I looked at my application and saw that my eye color and height was on there, so they CAN find it if they need to.

I actually had posted on here about forgetting to do that. Too bad you didn't see it. Otherwise, you might not have forgotten. ;) Although, I have a feeling that it's not a big problem since the info is on the application too.

It's funny as I thought when I got PPR that my waiting was over, but that's just not true if you mail in your passport. Because then you are waiting for your passport and worrying about whether or not you did something wrong and it will be delayed, etc. I will be sooo relieved to finally get my passport back, land and finally be done with this! Are you sending to Buffalo or Ft. Erie?

Ft. Erie. :) I just sent it off this afternoon. hehe I'm already obsessing about my pictures. The woman who took them was very careful to make sure they were the right size, and she took 4 of them to make sure they weren't shiney or anything... but now I'm worried my face was too small, or too dark!

Guess I just need to trust the lady. She seemed to be very particular about it all!

hehe I checked my application too, and it is on there. Sheesh. What a silly little thing to forget!

yeah, I worried about the photos too. I actually measured them in the store. The guy probably thought I was nuts. All he seems to do is these immigration and passport photos, so he should know the right size, etc. But you never know!

Well, guess what?! My return tracker has been activated! So I should get my passport back this thursday. I sent it out exactly two weeks ago. So it didn't take that long after all. :)

So hopefully you'll get your passport back in about two weeks too!

Well, depending on what time you'll be there Monday night, this is what you may encounter... ;D

Even if you do get stuck in the shenanigans, 99% of Sabres fans are civilized. Even the heaviest traffic isn't all that bad.

Keep an eye/ear out for bridge wait times too. You can call 1-800-715-6722 for bridge info. (is it sad that I have that number memorized?) They usually update the wait info every 20 minutes or so.

Please keep us posted on your experience with your visa and landing. I'll (clearly) be going in person for my passport stuff too, I'd love to know how it goes for you :)

Treelover- I sent it 04/04 and they received it 04/06..so I'm not long into the wait. That's good to hear they're running at about 2 weeks. That's what I figured would be the case. That's hilarious that you measured them on the spot. Sounds like me, I measured them as soon as I got home. lol
