CIC emailed us back this morning to tell us that they found my husband's FBI clearance and his application is with an immigration officer for final review. This sounds like good news! It just goes to show - it doesn't hurt to ask them to take another look.

I am trying to order our caips notes online.
When we received our AOR from Buffalo we got a file number starting with #F and the online company that would request the caips notes for us is asking me for a file number starting with #B

Does anybody knows what is the difference between #F and #B files ?

Thanks! I had a great night! I got lots of beautiful flowers and cards and a gift card for a massage at a wonderful SPA from my boyfriend!! I got so spoiled

That's awesome to hear!! I'm glad they found it, that would have put a huge weight on your shoulders to have to wait longer! Hopefully you're just around the corner from the end! I'm crossing my fingers for you.

Thanks for the support! Who knows how long it will be now - I have learned not to expect any specific timeline from CIC - but at least we are in the final stage. The initial assessment took almost 8 months! Here's to hoping that the final assessment isn't nearly as long and we get PPR soon.

Seems as if Buffalo is working again 8) - when I checked today in the morning my e-cas said "Decision Made"! So I am really nervous now...

I didn't get any e-mail though. Both my AOR and IA came by snail mail, so I guess it would be safe to assume that this one would too? I am a bit worried that it could be something bad cause I am not getting it by e-mail like 90% of other people (it seems). But maybe I am just over-reacting....

I got my IA almost exactly one month ago (it was dated March 10th, and I got it by mail on March 16th).
Hopefully you will hear something really soon too!

If you didn't have am interveiw or other documents weren't requested then it's positive 100%.

Great! I don't count on any consistency when it comes to processing times but I am still always trying to figure it out

Well, then that puts my mind to ease (for now at least ) cause that was the case (no interview, no documents)

I just got my PPR!! YAY!!!
