I am so glad to see the October thread moving right along. By the looks of it this winter weather hasn't slowed down the processing by too much!

Another update! Later on today (December 14), I also received my AOR in the mail . Congrats to everyone else for their updates today, by the way.

@ kelKel: yay! I can imagine how relieved you are to see yours moving along so fast; I know it would be such a big burden off of my shoulders to find out my interview was waived.

CongrAts Rinnerz on the Aor. I do feel relieved but now too excited to sleep. That mixed with the damn peppermint mocha and I think I might as well just stay up. Have to be up at 5!

Congrats Rinnerz. Want to hang out when you get approved? Just a thought. I could throw you a party or something. Would be a lot of fun. I just know you are going to get PPR before I get AIP. But maybe I will only be behind by a couple of months.

Now, now. Don't jinx it . Most people who have applied via Buffalo in the last couple of months have received PPR relatively quickly (1-2 months after Buffalo started processing), but you never know. It really varies from case to case, and based on things like... y'know... evil background checks and whether Buffalo misplaces documents or something <.<. Obviously I hope it goes by fast, but I always worry about getting my hopes up too much.

As for hanging out, it might be even better if we waited until I had PPR and you got your AIP; that way, we'd both have something to celebrate

This is all family category, sponsoring spouses which runs a lot quicker than other types of visas.

my husband got my letter of interveiw yesterday dated for feb 2 2011, althought they sent me one through my email on november 26 2010, am till amazed it took 2 weeks for accra visa office to call me for ineterveiw i was thinking of waiting for months, now am trying to prepare very well for the ineterview and hope to get my visa same day. i miss my hubby so much, am also gathering new communication, email, sms on our phone, phone calls and more not to much but from october to january 2011.

Hi all, here’s the latest updates, congrats to all who have their applications moving. My only update is my husband is now home for Christmas which is great, and I’ve also finished decorating my house – hurrah!!!

Hopefully we’ll get some more notifications this last week before Christmas, as it seems to me, everything is moving quite slowly right now, or at least for us in London VO.
