I'm not usually a person who thinks about or celebrates months, but today is our 2 month wedding anniversary! LOL! On Canada Day, it will be 2 years since the day we 'met'.

Especially with long-distance relationships that start online, I think it is fun to recognize our special days. For me it's July 1 when we first started chatting, Aug 2 when he said he loved me (crazy early, but now I know why!) Oct 12 when we met in person for the first time, April 14 when he proposed, and April 22 when we got married. He thinks it's funny that I remember all these dates, but we have had so little time together (55 days in the past 2 years) that I celebrate anything I can!

Looking forward to the next exciting date - getting first stage approval! Hopefully by the end of June!

GTwifey i am happy for you.I am still waiting for my approval and to think i send in my application on the 6 of may was recieved on the 7 of may.I spoke to cic last week and was told that it was going to finalize by the end of the week.I guess it was false information.Today i call cic again only to be told that by the end of next week which would make it more than 50 days.I am so fustrated with the whole system.
I am praying that your application move fast that would give me hope...Way to go girl.

Thanks GT! I am soooo excited. The letter states that my papers have gone to POS for processing. I'm even able to check my file on ecas!!!!

Keep your faith! At least we know that they are reviewing all MAY files. I pray that you will hear something before the end of the June!!! :)

I want to join on this May thread :D

I submitted my application last May 26,2010 and still waiting for the result. I hope we will all be approved :D

I am just worried about the Option-C thingy because I didn't give them one, I just gave them my T4/ROE instead. *sigh

I hope we will all receive our approval in no time :)

They're moving right along! Yay for everyone who has gotten good news!

On another note, did anyone near Ottawa/GTA feel that? I thought I was going crazy but my MIL told me it was an actual earthquake! wow!

Also.. how about the Yankees in the World Cup?! Yay :)

We felt it here in Grand Rapids Mi

I was laying on the bed reading and the cat was crawling all over me acting weird, and then it felt like someone was shaking the bed.. but not very hard. I thought maybe something happened downtown (i.e. 9-11).

Are you on the east coast?

We are having a windy storm today and thought that it was odd that it made the building move, then we realized it was an earthquake.
