its before , as u probably know ,try with receipt number and sponsor details .

did u call to see to what date they got to? :-\

I tried to use the receipt number, PR Card and Client ID but it's not working at all.
Which details should I put below the Identification Number?.. Is it my last name and info or the last name and info of the person I am sponsoring?

I didn't call CPC-M yet.Could you give me their number please?

ecas was updated last night with approvals from May 17 and May 18, so I imagine you won't be able to log onto it for a week or so.

To save myself from going insane, I signed up with this website that automatically checks ecas for you several times an hour. It emails you when you have an update. I have never tried to log-on, but this morning I got an email from the automated service telling me that I had Decision Made!

my receipt number is like Yfollowed by a few numbers, u have to use sponsors details,atleast thats what i did.
this number can be used inside canada only 1-888-242‑2100

I tried to call the number you gave me and spoke to a representative. I asked him if they already received my application and he said "you have to ask the post office where you have sent your application". he added, the visa offfice did not yet open the application because it was not delivered yet. urgghhh!

How did that thing happened? I sent the application last May 26 and it was not delivered yet? When i asked the post office when will the CPC receive my application, they said,"tomorrow" so that should be May 27. :'(

Maybe I spoke to a nonsense representative. I don't believe him.

our file got approved for sponsorship and sent to new delhi visa office. i havent yet got the letter. when and how do i get the file no.?
will the new delhi office contact me ? or file no. will be mentioned in the letter sent by cic?

Im sure it wont be the same person to answer your call if you try again , but whoever tried to deliver your mail would either deliver or return your mail back by now

I just tracked my application and I saw these details:

best is to call the number i posted in my previous posts , i believe your approval letter is due next week anyway

Do not bother calling! They don't have access to any other information. If you are not on e-cas, they will not have you in the system. I am sure when packages arrive they are stamped with the arrival date. That date is not in the system until they open your application to start processing. At that time they will log the date the package arrived, and the date it was processed.

Right now your application is sitting in a pile waiting for May 26 packages to be opened. Don't waste your time calling, they won't even be able to tell you if it's been received because they won't know until they open it! Be patient and wait until the end of next week. All of us have taken 35 days or so to process. You have to wait your turn.

Yeah, Thanks so much. I hate their reps.. they know nothing!! sorry for being rude but I hate the rep I just spoke with.

I hope we will get our approval next week though

Just remember...it's not the reps fault! They are doing their job. I think CIC tries to discourage us from calling. In my opinion, there is nothing a CIC call centre rep can tell you that you can't already find out from the CIC website.

In the British Home Office if you called today, the recording would say something like "If you submitted your application after May 1, 2010, please hang up now. Our representatives WILL NOT be able to help you"

The Brits are certainly efficient! They let you know right up front when they can't help you!

Canadian Immigration should also be doing that because it is far way better than waiting for their representatives to accept your call and when you ask something, they know nothing.
