I received approval via email but have not been able to log into the ECAS system at all. I have heard that they are quite slow at updating ECAS.

We submitted our application on March 16th but despite me checking ecas, mail and email every hour, I haven't heard anything yet.

I'm sure you're going to be next... I keep watching for you cause I know that if you get your notice then I know mine might not be far behind. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you! I sure hope you hear before the long weekend!!!

My app arrived in Mississauga on March 24... I'm not sure what you mean by "bd was encashed"? If you're asking when did we pay our fees... I paid them Jan 18, 2011. I hope that's what you were looking for? (I'm not good with the acronyms yet so I may have REALLY been way off )

I've recieved a Client number via email but can't log into ecas as well

I'm paranoid that my email will throw the message away... is there an email addy we should be adding to our "safe senders" list in outlook?

LOL I'm wired tonight and obsessing over this, because with everyone getting a message... I know it's getting closer. It's also because the hubby flies in tomorrow evening and I haven't slept in days because I'm so friggin excited.

ARGH!!!

11pm and I can't phone a soul to talk through it LOL. I'd call him but he's gonna need his sleep! hehe

Looking at your info CIC received yours 3 days after mine. I think you'll probably hear from them by the end of the week? I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!!

u can deactivate spam gaurd if ur antivirus blocks spam,u can also stop mail scaning by antivrus,some times antivrus can can block mails if they suspect it as virus.u can also go t mail settings and allow all the mails for few days whether it is spam or not

Sure =) We did our medical on February 22nd, we paid our fees on March 17th, our application was received in CIC-M on March 22nd, and our sponsorship was approved today, on April 20th.

Re receiving emails- he said he hasn't received any... is there an option to receive info from CIC by post or by email?

Hi Everybody,

Well, I am getting very stressed out here, as per eCAS the decision to sponsor my wife was taken on march 28, and the letter was sent as well the same date. In fact, her application has been received at the VO the next day, March 29.

However, according to my lawyers, they have not received the sponsorship approval letter via post nor an email. The same goes for the VO Notification. Has anyone experience this?
I told them about the eCAS updates, but they keep telling me we need to wait between 4 - 8 weeks since the application was filed (March 1st 2011). Come on here ??? CPC is in M and they are in Toronto, and they have not receive anything?

I am very frustrated because they do not want to ping the CPC nor the Embassy till the 8 week period expires, regardless of the eCAS updates.

Quick question: Is the AOR sent always as email and post, or just post? DO you think we got our AOR if eCAS states the app was received by them March 29?
