Just had an Ecas update. Our application was received in London on 20th April.

i applied myself

my visa office is london because i m living in the UK on resident permit, you can apply from the country other than your home country if you have longer or atleast a year visa in the country of your residence,

p.s i never said i m in pakistan. but living abraod can't stop me using my county's flag ;D

hi everybody, i´m new here. i should belong to the marchers we´ve send the application at the 8th of march and received the approval at the 20th of april. i guess there will be a long way to go from now on. how do you guys deal with that, i know there are tons of things to do....! does anybody have experience with the berlin office, how long do they need to open and start processing? do i really have to wait 13 months? :

Got an ECAS update!! Application was received by New Delhi on 18th April

Janamay, we both filed on March 17 and we both received our Sponsorship approval on April 18!

We should trade notes to see how both our apps trend from here on...

Started processing April 19
Status is Decision Made - and they sent me a letter on April 19 but not yet received.

Hm...I did provide my email but I didn't get any (not in the junk folder either)! Did everyone who put in their emails got an email or sometimes they will just mail the letter??

Ugh!! Can't wait to see what decision was made!! **pulling hair!!**

Hi all,

I too am new here. I'm just wondering, I was able to get an e-cas update over the weekend which indicates that a decision was made, and a letter was mailed to my home on April 20, 2011. I did provide an email address, but did not get an update there (also checked my junk folder). What I am curious about is if the decision is that I can sponsor my husband, how long does it typically take before our file is transferred to the Visa office in London UK or a status update to that effect be available on e-cas?

Check the box that you have read the Terms and Conditions, then Continue.

For Identification Type, you can use your Receipt Number. Then enter your other information.

If you are updating the spreadsheet, (thank you for making it, btw!) we finally received the letter for stage1 approval- it was sent April 15th.

Though now I am applying through Quebec, so my timeline will differ from the others as I have to apply to get a Selection Cert. for Quebec and then the file will be transferred to London. (All things going well!)
