Congrats for everyone who got the sponsorship approval! My sponsor hasn't heard anything from CPC-M yet. I'm getting nervous, as I read somewhere on this forum that CPC has lost some applications/documents... My fingers are crossed tight.

Hope the process goes smooth, March-ers, both inlanders and outlanders!

E-Cas is telling me that they started processing my application on April 15th- that a decision was made!! Just waiting on the letter in the post- hope it's good news... will be nervous until I know.

Congrats! Looking forward to receiving our letter soon... I want to assume "Decision made" means that a good decision was made!

Just checked ecas and I can finally log in with my sponsor's information -- status is "Decision Made" made on April 14, and that decision is a positive sponsorship assessment, and my case has been forwarded to Buffalo. Sweeeet. Next step: checking ecas religiously for any change over the next few months...

Just curious, I noticed that you got your aor number, I was wondering if they let you know by email or letter mail My husband and I are right behind you so I am hoping ours will come soon

Well that AOR date I put there confuses me a little bit to be honest. My ECAS was updated and said that they had received our application April 7th. It specifically says Application Received, I would say that's Acknowledgement of Receipt. But I could be entirely wrong, but someone in the buffalo thread said that it seems this is the way the new system seems to be working Feb-April applications are getting that update but applications previous to February are still waiting the 2-3 months for the paper or email AOR. So who knows really. I'm going to be optimistic though and say that's the AOR but I'll change it if I find out otherwise

Good Luck! I'm a few days behind you so please let us know when you hear something. I just keep crossing my fingers and checking online.

I do have a couple of questions for those who have received their approval though:

How does the sponsor approval arrive? Canada post or e-mail? Do you generally see it on e-cas before you get some sort of notification?

You are almost there Jade! My husband (sponsor) just got an email informing him that his sponsorship had been approved and that our application had been shipped to Buffalo. Check your spam folder!! We almost missed it!

Hopefully by the end of this week I may hear something...I keep obsessively checking ecas even though I signed up for the Ecas Tracker...With my Luck I am going to hear something when I am at work over my email through the cell phone...let us not forget that Friday and Monday are government holidays too...ugh!!!!

I know I will still end up checking e-cas constantly, but at least I know that if something pops up while I'm at work, there's a chance that I will find out as long as I covered every possible spelling of my name LOL.

And if nothing else... it adds variety to the immigration things I obsess over! What a brilliant program really, and so generous to be maintained and shared.
