Hello concrete,
I sent my application on Thu, Mar 10, and it arrived at CPC-M on Mon, Mar 14. Given that you sent yours a week after mine, I assume you will hear something within a week. :-*

I hope by this monday we will start getting our sponsorship approval letter who applied their application between 5 to 10 of March ! wish u all the best ...

We also filed on March 10. It is the suspense of waiting every day for that letter! It is driving me crazy!

But on a better note... I am booked to go visit my husband in late May! Yippee for me.

You should be coming this week.

On Thursday we were finally able to log onto e-CAS. Oh our delight! BUT... it was not what we expected.
We started processing your application on April 11, 2011. We returned your application with a letter on April 11, 2011. You may re-apply or resubmit your application when the information requested is provided.

The funny thing is that the status is In Process. I am hoping that it is just a request for another document and not have to send the whole application in again.

We have been driving ourselves crazy trying to figure out what we missed. I am absolutely devastated since this means most likely a 2 week to 2 month delay. What a nightmare.

This means they are getting to us in March. I logged onto eCAS using me (the sponsor's) details and the receipt number.

I tried to log onto CIC - "Check Application Status" using me (the sponsor's) details and the receipt number (the one with a letter in front and 9 numbers behind it when I paid the fees over the internet, right?) but failed ! Can everyone get in? Or is it just me?! :'(

They are just not processing your file yet. If your app arrived there on March 18, then my guess is that they won't even start looking at it for about 5(ish) more days looking at the processing times they have posted. You won't be able to Check your Status until after they start looking at it. And from what I hear, it's really not very reliable, but I'm hoping it works for you because mine will be about a week after yours. Good luck!!!

Keep in mind i'm also assuming that you applied through Mississauga for spousal app, just from looking at the ticker you have going at the bottom of your post.

Yes, I mailed the application to the Missassauga case processing centre.

I'm also sponsoring my wife and submitted the documents on Match 14. Just got an "in process" ecas update and thought I'd share while we wait for a decision.

We had a few from January that needed to resubmit their files or provide additional information, and once they did their sponsorship was approved within a couple of days. Your file doesn't go back into the queue again, it goes directly to whoever was already looking at it. So, it will cause a bit of a delay, but not as much as you might think

Awh, I'm sorry to hear that!
I am worried that we missed something out too; I guess I'll find out soon if we did or not!
Hopefully won't take that long for you to get processed again!

Hey all:

My wife just received an email from CIC informing her that she has been approved to sponsor me for PR! YES!!!! So excited!!

Our app was filed in Mississauga on March 17!

I'm so happy!!!
