Got my sponsorship approval in the mail today! Dated March 29th. Yay!

my hubby has not receive any letter from cic yet and i cant open ecas either.. i was thinking that maybe he should call already to ask for our status..

yup i think so, you need to follow up on your status because you should have some news last week.. what detail did your husband used in logging in ecas? in our case, at first we are trying to use the receipt # but no result..then my husband tried his permanent resident card number and then it worked..

i'm the one opening the ecas and i used the receipt # but i cant open it. i'll try using other id type.. anyway, when did you able to open yours?

I'm from Vancouver, and yes I'm the sponsor, my letter was dated March 29th and showed up in the mail on Monday. I can log into ecas now with my client number as well, but only the sponosorship part has info, the applicant stuff still says not available.

I tried logging into Ecas last week with a receipt number and it didn't work, all that works is the Client # on the letter I received.

Hi,

We got a status update on ECAS. Status changed to Decision made on Sponsorship. They are saying that they started processing the letter on April 7th and sent us a letter regarding our application on April 7th. Hopefully the decision will be positive. Will we get more information about the decision by calling CIC number?

Our ECAS has been updated to Application Received by Buffalo April 7th. Yay.

We have received our sponsorship approval as of April 1st! I checked online last night to see "decision made", and called this morning to ask about the decision since we haven't received the letter yet! Such a relief, now we wait again.

Hi everyone
Our application was received on the 10th March so I'm hoping we'll hear something and be able to log on to ecas in the next week or so.

We also filed on March 10. It is the suspense of waiting every day for that letter! It is driving me crazy!

But on a better note... I am booked to go visit my husband in late May! Yippee for me.
