Thread for Febuary applications

Hey everyone,

My husband's application started processing in London on February 10th...and our interview has JUST been scheduled for AUGUST 10, 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden (where my husband lives) BUT his medical expires on SEPTEMBER 14, 2010!!!!

Praying for his background checks to be fully completed by the time of the interview. Wish us luck....very nervous and anxious.

Hi NNCS - I pray for you guys so everything will work out well. Sounds like a quite thrilling timing with the interview, medical and other documents!
 
Got my visa back again today lol My mums FED-EXing it to calgary tomorrow morning :)
 
Only what i said, from what i see - we're hoping to get my visa this weekend in which case hopefully i'll be landed within the week!

My ecas status changed from "in process" to "decision made" this week. My wife is still waiting for them to return her passport with visa. Hopefully "decission made" means they have approved her visa.
 
Thats excellent news Waiting, hopefully you hear something soon so you can have your mind at rest eh?
 
I just want to share that my husband finally landed here in Canada on July 4. :)

Thanks for your support. Another July Applicant. Application sent Feb 17, received feb 19th. Approved to sponsor March 18. Application recieved in Accra April 20. Email sent to my husband on July 8, to appear at CIC accra to pick up his visa. The whole process took less than 5 months. This is amazing for Accra.

Visa in hand! now to sort out how to try to land in calgary/work out if i need some kind of visa to enter the USA on my passport! Then the joys of shipping!
 
Congrats Ktong, RN, and Silver_Spirit!!! So many good news in July, I hope my wife will get her passport with visa back soon.
 
Well i did the stupidest thing ever...lol.I sent in our app with a load of proof 250 pics lots of passport and flight info to her,recipts from everything even the money i sent to support her,that was not enough.I didnt include emails or skype proof as i thought all the things i sent was enough...i sent Photos,lots,flight,passport stamps,visa info,western union proof,letters from family and friends,letters from the pastor who did our wedding,and much more......she got called for an interview and was asked for a few forms to be filled in concerning her son.We sent these in and at this time sent all the email and skype proof.My wife sent an email asking if they recieved it all,they replied yes ,but also stated if she had of included the emails and skype proof with the app she would have not been called for an interview......now i feel stupid.

Ohhhh noooo!! it's ok, now they are very convinced. Did they mention the possibility of waiving the interview? According to your timeline, it should be coming up on August 12th right? two days after ours..Good luck :)
