That sucks dralon, considering how important what they do is, they do seem to be very incompetent dont they? :(

My passport's due to get to the london office tomorrow so hopefully i'll hear something soon!
 
My husband just received his visa package today (July 11, around 9:30 am Philippine time) ! :) The visa was issued on May 27, 2010.
He'll be leaving for Canada sometime 1st week of July! FINALLY! :)
 
Hey guys, I hope everything is doing well in your lifes, I was absent for a while, because my was came to my country. I would like to tell you that finally on June 15th I got my passport with the visa, and the rest of the papers. I will going to Canada in August, thanks to everyone for your help. I wish very luck for you guys.

All we got lately was a request for more documents,and they sent us a document that is not on the website anywhere to even down load,so they sent us the form we sent it off to the childs (sperm donor) to be signed.Hoping he does.

Finally found the Feb thread that is active, was on the other one yesterday and thought there wasn't that many people apply in Feb. It looks like there are some good news for some Feb people, congrats :). Anyone going through Singapore office and have some good news?

I just posted an update with my case on the other thread but thought I would share this update here also for the Feb thread. I logged on to ecas today and saw a new entry "Medical results have been received". Although I sent the med result in about the same time I filed my app in Feb but this is the first update I see since my app was transferred to Singapore post. Well at least, I know they are working on my case. Hopefully, my wife will get the visa soon. Anyone else has any updates?
 
I got a registered letter today asking for my partners passport!!!!!
 
My wife called this morning, she received all the pics and docs back and a letter requesting for her passport. Yay!!!
 
minor update..

2 weeks ago Sao Paulo Embassy requested docs from my wife.

For those who are trying to immigrate and have children from a previous marriage or common law relationship.. you are required to have 100% custody and have a court document stating that you do. When I say 100% custody, i mean 100% custody. Split custody will not be enough.

We had to get a judge to reverse a custody agreement, and luckily the ex partner was willing to sign documents stating he relinquished his parental rights as a father, and then sign and fill out IMM5604 (this is relatively new as in my application in feb it was not there)

Lilac6 - I saw you're note from a couple weeks ago re: our timelines being very similar - and also see you've updated your timeline with a passport request - I'm hoping I'm right behind you. I wish I had applied through London - I live in Bermuda so I had a choice of Buffalo or London - picked Buffalo in case I had to go for interview. What a mistake - I'd probably be done if I had gone with London ! No matter, I'm hopeful it will come through before my planned arrival date in September .... otherwise Plan B will have to prevail !
