hey everyone just thought i would let you all know that i recieved my PPR today. It has taken just over 2 months to get to this stage. London seems to be working fast as they only had my application for one month.

Congrats!!! Craig_mcd...........that was really fast... 1 month wow.
My application was sent to london office yesterday. I am looking forward to hear good news soon too.

That is very nice............How long did it take ur e-CAS to update to APP in process and decision made or passport request?

it still says in process in london but i recieved the email this morning requesting my passport

Thanks 4 ur reply craig_mcd............ ur e-CAS got updated to in process after 2 weeks ur file was transfer from MIS-CIC office to London office, right?

I would hope like hell that mississauga was not treating your filrs different because your from Quebec,is there another part to the application that does not apply to the rest of canada.Confused on this one but Sao Paulo has had a holiday today Wed 22 so all stopped there for the day.I hope you hear something soon guys.
Could you not tlk to your MP or the MP of mississauga and ask sometimes they are know to help in these situations.

Hey Dralon talked to my cousin todayhe put his app in March 1st for his wife in ubecezstan close to russia and got answer and letter stating it was sent to the embassy there.So i guess march apps are being answered.sorry guys.

Hey comp my wife sent all her paperwork to me in dec last year it got lost in customs mississauga too for months she redid the app sent it again and it came.I submitted it it went to sao paulo when it got there the other envelope she sent the first time showed up.The problem i have was the first envelope that got lost had the medicals in it so i nowhave the medcicals but the package is already sent to Sao Paulo so i emailed them to see where i am to send them.Mississauga or Sao Paulo.
And apparently when i talked to customs in Mississauga they said i it is an envelope they wont even pull it out of cue it is Canada Post that is not doing the job of coming to customs to get the envelope.Whatr a mess it was 2 months before it finally showed.

Logged onto ECAS this morning like always, it said "decision made" and that a letter was sent to me on April 21, 2010. That was all. Hope it's good news.

Kind of good news on my part here guys! Went back to canada with the husband today, got a 6 month visitor record, details on how to extend it and the guy told me once i get a letter saying its provisionally approved i can get a work permit i didn't know about. Whilst he was doing that he checked the status for me (he couldn't get much more than what i knew already sinc ei can't log into E-cas yet) but he did tell me its in process in london (after waiting for my psych stuff to get back to them) so yay! Overall very good experiance with the immigration people - terrible with the airport, they lost my cat in gatwick (and no we haven't found her)

Dear All

My AOR date is 13 April 2010. I got a new passport today. My old passport was valid till Jan 2012 but i had to get a new one as there were no pages left on old passport. My PR application is being processed in Abu Dhabi.

I saw an online case enquiry form on CIC site. I will send them an email to notify of new passport. Is it enough or do you recommend something else? Please advice.

Hey Dralon, today I checked out, the ecas, and finally it's working for me, it says decision made, and also that they send me the letter on april 22th, so now I have to wait, if was approved or not.
You should try to see your file on ecas, maybe is working for you now.
