We sent our app to Mississauga on feb 5th was done there and sent to Sao paulo mine was updated today the 20th as to say it was started to process in Sao Paulo april 13th.

Mine started processing on April 1st.

remember where it says surname it is your last name only and it is the name of the one who submitted the application not the person who is being sponsored and make sure you change the top to the client number.

Hey Dralon, did you see the update of the cic web site today??? is unbelievable they still are on Feb 11th, and the waiting time now is 67 days, 3 weeks stucks on Feb. 11th, come on!!!

Oh yes i noticed and i am seriously pissed off so much that i am thinking to start writing to media and invite them to investigate how unfair the canadian immigration system is. How on earth people from march can be accepted when they are still at feb 11 and even worse stuck there for 3 WHOLE weeks a whole month still in early february... not i am very angry right now good thing i am far from Mississauga

Ha ha that would do you no good they do what ever they want but if he put it in Mississauga in march and has not heard anything something is wrong.Did they loose it in files somewhere did you inquire if they even have it?

we both are from Feb 17; arcuva wife keep on calling they say everything is normal since they are still at Feb 11 and it is also impossible for people from march to have receive answer. They are just liars and incompetent

Is very sad, unfair, etc. So we can not say anything, just wait and wait. I am really dismotivated, tire of being separate of my wife. Have yo u ever try to call the cic? you should call one day, maybe you have more luck than my wife. Because, I would like to hear at least a logical answer from the cic.

arcuva when your wife call, does she speak to people from CIC in french or english. Because i would probably try the other language that was not tried... tomorrow if time allow i will try to call... i only have lunch time to call so hopefully the wait is not too long.

In the mood i am they better not tell me it is normal

They were as bad as you said i went in french even it i took every english option.. again it is impossible even if i tried to battle with the lady. I am planning to write to my federal deputy and hope he will investigate. Since he is for the Bloc quebecois and that it appears our cases in quebec take longer, maybe he will have some people look into it.. if at least look why the system is unfair it would make me happy...

sigh feel angry and depressed at the same time.. will it never end

i thought about TV too i think something has to be done the lady had no explanation why 3 weeks the same date she said it can happen... she is so incompetent she didn't want to let me talk i had to cut her to say a word... I think they should abolish the call center they just take good money for our taxes for nothing a generated computer message could do the same

Hello iarblue, Dralon and me, we are and the same situation, the cic received the file of sponsorship on feb 17th, and we don't have any answer from cic, even on ecas. And if you see the web site of cic, they still are on files from feb. 11th, so here we had seen a lot people, who had had the answer, even people who sent the file after feb. 17th, for that reason we beleive that maybe because our files are from Quebec part, they are being unfair with us. What you think about it???

My application is for Quebec also, I received the AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) from CIC Sao Paulo Brazil today saying they have started the application.

My problem now is my package that I sent to Montreal MICC is stuck in Customs in Mississauga and has been that way on the Canadapost website since April 9th!!!! 8 business days it's been held there. By now I would probably have the CSQ or close to it and MICC would be close to sending their reply to CIC here.

What a waste of time... it's only a paper envelope
