Does eCas change from 'In Process' to 'Passport Request'?

I need some proof to take with me to the border when I bring my husband in on Monday. We want to send off the passport from here, so I hope we don't have any problems coming in.

AngelB, first of all CONGRATULATIONS! So excited and happy for you. Our Ecas changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made" but it doesn't say what the decision was. My husband printed out the actual passport request email from Buffalo to bring with him to the consulate. He is just arriving in Buffalo now and is going to be there with bells on, bright and early tomorrow! I can't wait until I hear he has that shiny sticker safe and sound in his passport! lol

Congrats to everyone else who has received their passport requests or passports back with visas! Our little August thread seems to be hopping along lately! I hope the momentum keeps on a movin!

Hi everyone...my husband went to Buffalo on Tuesday and he has his shiny sticker all ready in his passport! He said all the advice I sent him from the forum was bang on and it really helped him get through the processs smoothly!
I have a question about landing and the B4 form I keep hearing about. How does that form work? Does anyone know? What if you run out of space on the form when listing everything you are bringing can you write the remainder on a regular sheet of paper?

Congrats fenna1 - very exciting!! And for everyone still waiting, I know it won't be much longer. The August thread has moved and is moving wonderfully, the positive energy can only extend further.

Hey guys, I am back.

Just thought I would check in with the progress. It looks like everyone is far along now. So my husband got his passport back some time ago with the Visa...he was taking his sweet time in getting a plane ticket, and wanted to leave December 6th (because he has 5 doors which are on order, and he would like to put them all up in his house before leaving) so I told him he might as well wait until after Christmas, so he can spend the holidays with his mom. His mom lives alone with him, and so otherwise, she would be spending the holidays alone. But for me, now I have to wait until January 3-5 for him to come....

Also, his medical expires sometime in February, does it matter that we are cutting it kind of close, as he would be arriving in early January?

In my opinion, it doesn't matter. On the letter I got it said I have to land by January 9th at midnight, therefore I have until then!

Thank you Nyssa for the information. So I guess my husband will onyl have to bring the two forms. And as for the landing date, he did get a letter specifying a certain date, so he will definately be here by then.

Pretty much, I haven't taking anything out of the return envelope (not even my passport!) I'm just going to ride with it all in the UHaul and hand them the envelope!!
