Does anyone have any idea why Singapore and Manila Vo have been so slow recently? Last year, many people got visa within 6-8 months if they had interview waived. But now, most Sep/ Oct applicants havent had update for so long... I'm a Mar'16 applicant via SVO and start worrying...

There will likely be more waiting and worrying for us SVO applicants. I am Feb 16.

I heard from CEM last month in response to my inquiry. I am going to order notes soon and planning to call CIC also Sana sana ppr na next week

Hello everyone

My wife is about to land in Canada soon. Got a couple of questions.

I will be returning back to Canada with my wife, and she is going to be landing.

Can I accompany my wife during her landing process?

And for all the goods she bring to Canada, is it duty free? is there any limit?

Do we need to provide any receipts for the goods?

Also she has some goods to follow, do we need to fill any forms before landing?

Anyone who has any landing experiences, please share with us.

This is the experience landing from SARIM, WHO JUST LANDED ON THE 19 THIS MONTHS, HOPE IT HELPS.

Any ways come to the real point i was landed in Toronto Pearson airport at 19th May 2016 8:30 AM first i go to customs counter and meet with CBSA officer he took CBSA declaration card which i received in flight and ask about how much money i bring and good to follow i inform i dont have any good to follow and i have this much cash he mark on the card and give it to me with warm welcome to Canada, now time for immigration counter i wait in the line around 20 minutes after 20 minutes finally my turns officer call next and said Hi i told him i am a new immigrant he ask me about COPR and Passport then ask 3 questions only, 1) your wife is in Canada now because at the time of application file she was with me in Dubai. 2) you ever involved in any crime 3) you have dependents and finally ask me about the Canadian address. after all question he greet me welcome to CANADA now you my proceed to luggage belt.

Waiting is killing me so that's the problem now. As you can see mvo is doing September applicants now.
