Anyways, I don't think that they'll be asking me as much stuff as your husband's cos I think they only ask for voter's ID and school records if the certificate of birth was registered late. Mine wasn't. Also, I didn't live in another country for more than a year so I only had to submit police clearance from the Philippines.

By the way, when did your ecas change from "Not Available" to "In Process"??

Uhmnn I didn't know that, thankyou for telling me. My ecas is still "Not Available"..dunno why Maybe it will change into "in process" once they received the completed docs......

Good morning,

Has anyone who knows that a "decision was made" on Sponsorship Application the week of September 13th received a letter yet? A decision was made on ours on September 13th and a letter sent September 14th. We are still waiting for the letter.

Also, I have never lived in the US (just Bermuda) but I went ahead and requested an FBI Clearance certificate which I received last week. I included a Police Certificate from Bermuda with my original application. I don't want to cause any delays by holding on to the FBI letter! Whether they need it or not, I want to sent it to join my file (going thru Buffalo) What should I do with it?

I also did not pay the final fee (RDPR??) just the application fees. How and when should I pay that? Buffalo's website says they do not accept Receipt of Payment from CIC but the CIC website says that I can pay it online as I live outside Canada. Any thoughts? I want to pay this and get it out of the way.

I have just checked e-cas and we have 'Decision made' and nothing else, as in, isit a yes or a no?, on 23rd Sept, I thought that they sent the decision in an e-mail for some reason, has anyone had this or did I dream it?

Do I have to wait for the letter to see what the decision is?

Yeah they won't say what the decision is on ecas for the sponsor so you have to wait for the letter. From what I can tell if it's within the month-ish for processing since the application was received and there is nothing you are really concerned about as the sponsor, it should come back approved. Haven't seen a lot of denied sponsors so far.

Sorry about the ramble guys, I have looked through the thread again and answered my own question, I have to wait for the letter I suppose. But now I have an highly excited husband beside me who has vowed to stay up all night waiting for a letter to arrive!!!
