Congratulations Pisces17!!!!

Wow!!! Congrats pisces17!

Thanks to everyone for all the help with questions I posted here. I still can't believe how quickly our application was processed! My husband played a really mean joke that our application was denied!! I started crying then he just laughed >:(. and said he was kidding. I checked his email just to be sure lol, then there it was, sweet email from Taipei "Your Visa is Ready". Then more crying heheheh. I know Taipei is fast but I didn't think it would be super fast! Overall, I'm really glad that this whole process is over. It took about 62 days from the day CPC-M received our package up to the day they requested for his passport. They said the passport will be returned within 2 weeks of the date of receipt.

Thanks to everyone and I wish everyone to have a very speedy process!!

Thank you Mama Mary for hearing my prayers...

By the way, my sponsorship approval letter came just today (Sept 15). It was originally sent by CPC-M on Aug. 19th but I never received the letter. I had to call them to resend it. ;D

Hi guys.

I had sent my application to CPC missisauga for my Wife's PR on JUly 19 th. Application was received on July 21. I have received the PR sponsorship approval on August 21st. I received a letter from CPC saying that the file is now transferred to New Delhi- India for further process. Here are my questions:

1. Does Embassy in New Delhi send an acknowledgment letter to my wife saying they have received the application from Missisuaga and are processing it? if Yes How long does it take? -- I have checked the online status and it says that a letter has been sent to me-They were referring to the sponsorship confirmation letter which I have received on 21 of August).

2. How fast is the Embassy in New Delhi processing the PR? Anybody who had sent the application to Missisauga in July already in the process of receiving the PR? I mean any letter or so from the embassy asking to send the passport for stamping purpose?

I would highly appreciate your quick response

Thanks all

V

I got the AOR letter in the mail today. Yay!!

I got my AOR letter in the mail, too. I can't stop checking my e-cas status! It's turned into a daily habit even though I know there won't be any news for weeks at least :(

whats an aor letter??
Acknowledgement of Receipt. It's the letter that the visa office sends you once they start processing your PR application.

ohhh okay, so its the same thing that says youve been accepted as a sponsor??

No, that's the Sponsorship Approval letter. AOR comes when your visa office begins processing your application. It comes for Buffalo about 1-2 months after being approved to sponsor, usually. I don't know for other visa offices. Then they begin processing your application, in the AOR letter you will get stickers with your file number so you can send documents if they request any. After that comes your PPR.

thanks:)) do you know if im allowed to add some additional things without these stickers or is it better to wait for the letter?

Definitely better to wait for the letter, because then you will know your file number and you won't have to risk it getting lost!

My lawyer just e-mailed me a scan of our AOR...I knew from ecas, but always nice to have that piece of paper too and see the little Buffalo stickers for yourself.

;D

Hi all,

I just got my AOR - dated September 7 - from Buffalo!

It looks pretty generic, though. It doesn't even mention my missing FBI letter (which I also just got the same day!). Will something requesting it come soon? I will mail it in anyway shortly, but just wondering if they will specifically ask for it.

ECas says "In process since September 7"

Congratulations everyone getting their AOR...it feels good to see application moving forward isnt it? :D
