Okay ! so i go to this place called RTA office.. and these guys are not aware of any letter which is issued on the basis of your driving record.. All i was given was a Driving license particulars.. The same matter thats on the DL was put on papers and signed by the authority..

Is that of any help ? Should i get an International license ? I need to ensure that i am not asked to wait for G2 when i land ???

I know what you are saying meateater.. my husband is in the same situation. The RTO has no idea what a driving record is... their fkd up answer is that any fool would know how much experience you have based on your licence !!??

My husband was also going to try with the DL particulars, since that is all he is going to get. May trying at a different MTO location might help.

Fprince - which location did your friend try?

Meateater - any plans of getting some other documentation for you driving experience?

I need some good advice,

So my husband and I have deemed the pp lost in the mail - as some of you know we have NO luck with IPS.

He claims that because its a reg post they will attempt to deliver it within a specified time and if not it goes back to the sender ( ND). Also because the name of the state is missing on ecas our prediction is even stronger that it was / being sent back to ND.

We need to contact ND to get the pp back/ atleast inform them that it may be sent back... in such a case do we use a CSE, or use the general email add. on the website?

Good morning girl,

I say your passport is still in the mail, or was never sent out with the first batch... I don't think its lost, I know its coming.. I suggest you wait just one more week. I know its hard to wait when you know they've stamped it with the shiny plastic.. but I hate to say please wait just one more week.

As you've mentioned your self the address on eCAS is something and the PPR you received had the correct address, I'm sure eCAS sometimes can't show all the info they've got on your file.

The method you'd use would be IMO a CSE, not sure if they even check the general e-box. I'd not rely on that.

But again please wait just one more week... and I hope your husband gets the passport in the morning... IPS open on Sat!!!

i feel very strange that my friends wife applied for spouse application on 7th January and he got visa on 2nd april. Here in the forum there are people who applied in November and still did not got the visa. I do not know how embassy processes the file

Welcome to New Delhi... thats how they work.. they will never follow the FCFS policy... I don't even know how they work.. I really want to know the procedure they use... is it computer aided? or is it bunch of files in some filing caibinet?.. or bunch of mailboxes holding each file?.. or what is it?

Don't feel strange... that's pretty normal... you know why ? cuz its New Delhi!

He went to Oakville and they refused.

The issue is MTO needs a letter from the RTO stating experience etc, these RTO guys and i don blame them have no idea.
But in India a 500 Rs Gandhi pic can get you anything :

Your PP is not lost it is either Intransit or not posted yet.
Why did your PPR take you 30 days in transit> does he live in a small or confusing place or it he in a city.

I think for a Registered post they will try delivering for 7 or 15 days ( not sure ) and it will go back to the post office and then again after that timeline they will send it to the sender.
Why doesn't your hubby go his post office and inquire? that will solve all issues..

Her STATE was never listed in ECAS, so don worry all is fine.

I will wait until Monday as they could have posted it this week...

If you wanna send a email yes email them and tell them it has been 2 weeks since ecas changed to decision made and you have not yet received the PP.

It's combination of "bunch of files in some filing cabinet" and "bunch of mailboxes holding each file". They have computers but their system is not fully integrated with hard copy files and documents.

They say that when you send PP, it takes 30 to 45 days to insert then in your file and then VO will take a look. Then how come some people receive decision made within 20 days of sending PP. It's completely a matter of luck. There is no set procedure. If a VO officer finds a case convincing then you will be done very quickly, otherwise they will follow the stupid "6 month deadline" rule.

Sorry guys for all this rambling. I have given up any hope with this bunch of @#%&$* (I don't know what you will address them). There is nothing you can do.

Feedback required from ppl who got their Visa.

My wife did not get back any emails, bills, documents back...which we submitted in our app.
Many are concerned abt Greeting cards ( i sent none to ND )...

So do we get back sentimental items back from CHC ND? anyone ?

I didnt get anything but the pictures I sent in and that was given at the interview. Besides that nothing came back.

I like Fprince's advice. I know for sure that if some registered letter is not delivered, they will hold it in post office for a week. So your hubby should go to post office and request them about the letter. State is not a big issue, they go by city and pin/zip code.

If possible use Gandhi Pics so some advantage. Gandhi pics if used appropriately can do wonders in India.

thankss everyone..its pretty crazy when you think youd never be the one...but yea we are fairly young...so that could be the cause...the phone interview went perfect..but guess wasnt enough to satisy them,..its kinda stupid how we get both terms of interviews oh well... going to prepare soon...even if i ordered CAIPS i prob wont recieve it in time...just wish it was his pp with visa in mail not interview letter...
just want it done and over with..its final process :)

If you order CAIPS and show proof of your interview date they will try and get them to you on time. You want them as you want to be prepared for why they are calling you for in person interview even after a phone interview. Something has triggered them not to be fully satisfied. I was able to get my husbands CAIPS and FOSS notes in a week and a half around the busiest time of year ( fiscal year end).

thx mate so according 2 ur timeline i shud receiveit around 8-9 hmmmm..... was expecting early :(
