Hey DNT2003, my wife too has not received a PPR so we are in the same boat here. Maybe our visa officer is the same.

Today is my wife's birthday and she got the best B'day gift she said...it was just magical and so it is cos i do not have a BEER now to drink ! what an irony.
She got her PP back with the Visa, pictures, COPR and a guide abt welcome to Canada.

Visa Issued - May 20, 2011
Ecas Decision Made - May 23, 2011
Expiry - Nov 1, 2011 ( medicals expiry date )

I do know for a fact that everyone in this thread were wishing and hoping for my case to end soon...i dedicate this to you all.
This thread is wisdom and i will be a part of it...

Finally the Prince will bring his Princess to Toronto !

hey fprince....

can u tell about COPR? i guess they dont put COPR in enevelopes anymore? my cousin got the papers loose in the big envelope:

so the contents of the package were:
1) her pp
2) pics that we/she sent
3) welcome letter etc

can u verify?

so how are the preps going?? r u going back to bring her here?

Yes my friend, I'm really hoping and praying that they do reply to the CSE and not keep me in the limbo.. as I have no idea wtf is going on... lol..

I'm gonna be holding tight for until end of this week.. and see where we stand... if progress great... else... MP is the option.

My friend, from my personal experience.
You will get a reply for your CSE as your case is unusual like Mine, they do reply to unusual delays.
Your MP will also get you the same info, but it is hard for you to convince the MP as they go by the guide " 6 months in ND " and will ask you to wait.
Hold on tight for the next few weeks, if you do not get a reply for your CSE ( after 3 weeks ) then contact your MP, i am here to guide you.

Thats what bugs me because they like to go by the book.. and 6 months is too much when you know its not fair.. others after you get done before you... (don't take this in a bad way guys) its great, but why is it that other who've applied after you finish first...

where is the first come first serve policy? that will make everyone happy!

I really don't want to see an MP, but if I have to then I will use help of our friend fprince.. to see if MP office will comply with my request.. but lets hope we won't have to take that route.

Hey DNT2003,
You can approach a MP, but they will only initiate an enquiry to CHC-New Delhi if it's close to 6 moths.

Although they have not replied to your CSE, I am dead sure they have looked at it and are processing your file. They might not have sent you the PPR, but for sure they have opened your file and reviewed your case. I have seen them not replying to CSEs but opening the file.

In one case, the applicant's medical was expiring in 4 weeks and she wrote a CSE. They did not reply to CSE but the e-cas status changed to decision made in the weekend. This is clear case where the VO was sitting on the file without any knowledge of the medical expiry date and CSE gave the trigger.

So they do look at CSE and you will get PPR. But you know the dreaded word which I hate "PATIENCE".

Cheers!!

I really hope its not what they tell me.. I just wanna see an email asking me to submit my passport.. or maybe the PPR in mail before end of this week!

I'm being positive.. and my VISA officer is now ready to give me the visa so he has sent out a letter asking me for Passport .. and maybe my dream date of June 29 (date on which I wish my wife will land) can come true....

The only thing i hate to Tell DNT2003 is the scenario where the file is delayed in Ottawa ( as in my case )
CHC ND does not have anything to do with this and they forget to send the PPR as the File ID is not created
..once the file comes in after a month, they completely forget the PPR and work on the case and wait for the PP.
They will tell you about this when you send them a CSE or MP email.... this is a very rare scenario but very bad it really screws things up for us.
Usually if this Office does not send a PPR out within 2 months, there has been a delay in the file as most of the applicants get it within 2-6 weeks.
Hang on my friend....
