hi,

i have got immigration visa on May 24, 2011 along with a letter. It says i need to show marriage certificate, birth certificate and reference letter and school diplomas. They did not mention anything about photo.

I am wondering what is this reference letter, and what should be content of this letter and do i need passport size photos at port of entry.

The Reference document for landing is the COPR and the the letter stating your approval/landing procedures.

Your wife has to carry the origional marriage certificate and other related documents in the carry on so when they ask for it she can show it to them, this is a random check done by immigration officers at the port of landing,

The picture will be the COPR and you do no need additional pics when you land outland.

No worries, and usually thats the only reason, they never tell you why, unless you order CAIPS and it gives you pointers as to whats going on, but I say nothing to worry about, it will be an easy one, also one positive, so far I've not seen anyone on this thread get refused at the interview, and I hope I see this trend always.

to ND 2nd marriage is a big flag, specially if the roots are INDIA, as its not very common.

you will get your passport by: July 4 / 5 (American Independece Day?)

Thanks DNT..!!! It does feel nice to think that we'll get the visa in abt a mnth's time...but hv to cross the hurdle first!!!
I think it's a little late to order CAIPS...as it may take abt 5 weeks...

Hope it all goes well!!! I'm the one getting all nervous...My husband is all cool abt it..and can't wait to attend the interview!!!
