Avibis,
Looking at your time frame you file has been in Delhi for around 6 weeks now...you really can't expect them to answer an email asking for PPR..
they ask you to contact them if you think something is wrong..when i contacted them it was around 3 months in delhi and then they gave a file number..
i would suggest you just keep positive..cos usually they send a standard crappy reply if you just ask them before something seems wrong..
just my suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback fprince, I'm indeed trying to stay positive but it is very hard to continue waiting "in the dark". And the randomness of ND makes it even more difficult :(

Need a help regarding PCC

as per CIC, we need to provide PCC from all the contries where we stayed 6 months or more.

I was in london for 1 yr under work permit - but i came to india inbetween.

as per passport stamp :

21 July 2007 entry to london
23 Dec 2007 exit

07 Jan 2008 entry again
05 Jul 2008 exit.

for the first period, its not more than 6 months
but the second period, its 2 days short for 6 months

Even i tried to get a PCC from london and its really a helllllllllllllll.

Could u pls advise me whether i really need a PCC from London?

Thanks in advance.

Ben

yes definately, I can't wait to see some updates, what I have noticed specially in my case, I see something updates on SATURDAY night (Toronto Time) so I've promised my self (tho I already broke it few times) not to check that stupid eCAS daily, just do it every Satuday night, but I keep on breaking promise I made my self, eCAS is like an addiction.

Tight, but you stayed in london for a year and took 1 trip to India..it was a vacation and your physical residence during that time should have still been London as you returned.
so i would have to say..Yes you need one.
That would be me..guys, can you comment on this question.

I agree with fprince

You were only in India for a vacation and then went back to work.
