oooh wait
i have to say that i have got a PPR request that reached on 22/03/2011and it was sent to the rep in canada...
so i am assuming somewhere during the application process if you have signed something where it asks u to allow correspondence to be sent to the rep mayb it goes there...
it has been to exhausting so i doubt i remember any part of the forms which said that. anyway mayb this is useful to someone else who is probably waiting for their postman/woman endlessly in the hopes of a PPR, if u have used a rep, repeatedly bug them to find out or check if they have recd something....

Interesting, first time i am hearing a PPR sent to Canada...
Maybe my PPR went to some random lawyer in Ontario....

yes definately, I can't wait to see some updates, what I have noticed specially in my case, I see something updates on SATURDAY night (Toronto Time) so I've promised my self (tho I already broke it few times) not to check that stupid eCAS daily, just do it every Satuday night, but I keep on breaking promise I made my self, eCAS is like an addiction.

I will update as soon as I get the magic letter. She is in Orissa. I don't know how long the letter will take to reach there. it's so unpredictable.

If you have a representative acting on your behalf, then your correspondence goes to them. So some people who have lawyers, their lawyers will get the PPR and all other request. I have been in contact with another member that it happened that way as well.

Also, for the member who said they sent a CSE to ND as the sponsor, don't be surprised if you dont hear from them, or you get a generic privacy statement back from them. Unfortunately, unless you are your spouses representative, ND is legally not allowed to tell you anything anymore (stupid I think). Due to privacy laws even as the sponsor you are pretty much cut out of this process after the initial CPC-M approval.

I am in India and i think using a lawyer has delayed the process because snail mail within india itself is bad enough but when it goes to the lawyer and then is forwarded to you, it just ends up dragging the process further. (not that we can predict anything to go on time anyway).
I am in India and yes a copy of that letter was sent along with the PP. I just wish i had known about it while using a representative. Are there any more surprises i should be aware of?? (the good thing is my PP cant be sent out of the country so thats a good thing, i dont need to wait endlessly for mails to go half way around the world before i hear back from ND..
