When you did a CSE last time, did you use the web form? If so, did you send in the request as Sponsor or Representative?

I did mine as the Sponsor and no response from ND yet, its been 13 days now.

My wife sent a cse on the website around march 10 and she got a reply around march 25 with the file number.
If you email as a sponsor they won't reply, the applicant should email abt their case.
They will get back to u if you are the representative for the applicant...

and gagan was right, if ND followed any standards or rules..no one would be clueless. They can do crazy $hit as i have seen.

Looking at your time frame you file has been in Delhi for around 6 weeks now...you really can't expect them to answer an email asking for PPR..
they ask you to contact them if you think something is wrong..when i contacted them it was around 3 months in delhi and then they gave a file number..
i would suggest you just keep positive..cos usually they send a standard crappy reply if you just ask them before something seems wrong..
just my suggestion.

Sounds good, I was thinking of doing that and it maybe a good idea now, also nylalisa did mention to me as well about removing the members, but glad you gave me few names to remove so I will do that right now.

Also we should look at some of the names in the GREEN zone and see if we can remove some of them as well.

You can suggest the names. I will post the cleaned up list in a few minutes.

Mr DNT2003, for us to maintain clarity about the timing process, we need to eliminate some members who are not active for a long time.
If they are back we can add them again. I am positive they got their Visa a long time back and for some reason they are still on the list.

Can you please remove these members whom we have not heard for a while..The list looks much cleaner and faster when you look at processing times after you remove them.

I am new to these forums and just had one silly question. when ND send the PPR how exactly is it sent?? is it sent via emails, or registered post, snail mail etc and to whom? obviously i am assuming the applicant and not the sponsor, but in case of a Representative, is it sent to the representative/lawyer even if they reside in Canada???
Just to give u a background of my timelines
Application filed and recd: jan 19th 2011
File transfer and recd by ND 21 feb 2011...
status Application received.

Also another question, if PPR comes through when is eCAS updated to medicals received or in process??

Hello all

I am new in this forum.. like many of you in the forum I am in the painful waiting period looking forward to CHC-ND's actions..

my application process timelines

Feb 15, 2011: PR application received by CHC New Delhi
Feb 21, 2011: medical reports received
Feb 28 , 2011: "medical reports received" line got erased and since then status is showing just "application received"
April 7, 2011: status changed to "In process" status says processing started on April 5 (so status got updated 2 days later)

will keep updating the status

i didn't know that the ppr request ( whether they want it before file processing) was dependant on the VO/IO. I assumed it was a standard procedure where they asked for it first and then starting processing...

that may explain why some of us haven't got the ppr yet!

Trust me, nothing is a silly question the way ND operates.
PPR is sent through ordinary CHEAP post, and can vary from 3-15 days based on your luck and city. It is sent to the applicant in India.
I have been told if there is a rep, the PPR still goes to the Applicant in India as they have to send the PP to ND.
PPR has nothing to do with ecas, you can get it in app received or in process..depends on who handles your file..a lot of ppl do get it in the app received status these days.
Medicals received can show up anytime..depends on how they get the info from the DMP and when they put it on your file.

welcome onboard on this "waiting ship"


chc nd sends ppr via regular mail (REGULAR BHARTIYA DAAK SEVA). they never email the ppr...


as far as my understanding is....the letter goes to the applicant not to the representative....i could b wrong (may be other's can correct me)....



as far as e-cas update goes...no one in the world can answer that....miracles do happen and this exactly suits to chc nd and e-cas....ur e-cas might say "Application Received" and then to "Decision Made" or "Application Received" then "In Process" and then "Decision Made" or "In Process" and "Decision Made"....no one is certain with this...

oooh wait
i have to say that i have got a PPR request that reached on 22/03/2011and it was sent to the rep in canada...
so i am assuming somewhere during the application process if you have signed something where it asks u to allow correspondence to be sent to the rep mayb it goes there...
it has been to exhausting so i doubt i remember any part of the forms which said that. anyway mayb this is useful to someone else who is probably waiting for their postman/woman endlessly in the hopes of a PPR, if u have used a rep, repeatedly bug them to find out or check if they have recd something....
