Also my Wife received another PPR by email. but then VO from CIC called her on her cell, to say that it was a mistake that they sent it again and they have her passport. Also he wasn't sure why the file was delayed, but he said that he just received the file today and will do a final review before issuing the visa.
He only asked her about the medical.

Do you still have the "medicals have been received" line in ecas?
Mine vanished on monday and is still not there..no idea what it means.

Mine is missing too but status is still In Process. No further updates afterwards. I haven't received any replies to the email that was sent yesterday. But I think they are slow anyway so may be I will hear from them in few days.

Well I am someone who got PPR and invited to interview, yet my file reads "Application Received". Obviously they are processing it yet according to them, nope just received it.

Btw, I ATIP'ed my husband's file, what a bunch of rude people there. God help anyone who has to deal with this department within CIC. Hopefully they rush it and I get it in time. It at least seemed hopefull that I would, even given they are the devil's spawns over there.

Hi Good News, did you receive your relationship proof back along with your visa; for instance, pics, documents, cards etc?
I am just curious. Also what is the expiry date, 1 yr after spouse got medicals done?
I was wondering if my hubby lands by visa expiry date, can we go back after he receives his PR card in mail at our canadian address to wrap up his job and other matters in india then come back to canada..can we leave soon after he receives his PR card or is there a waiting period before he can leave Canada as a new PR?

I am still waiting for the passport, My ECAS showed Decision Made on March 6 - Sunday Morning so I don't know when will I get my passport, Goodnews received her Passport in like 3 days but her passport was also received at ND on Feb 24 and mine was delivered on Feb 26, so I am just waiting, It's so hard to wait, any wait is bad AOR,PPR and VISA, nothing else is on my mind right now.

Please do keep us posted about when you get your passport back and details like when was it sent out

ATIP is Access to Information and Privacy. They are the ones who can give you the CAIPS notes to your file, which in my case very valuable so that I can know why I am being interview, as to address their concerns. Otherwise, you head into an interview blind.

Did you order CAIPS? how long does it usually take to get one...my app is delayed so much so i am thinking if CAIPS would be a safe backup in case something happens..

takes 3 to 5 weeks
i just ordered mine today ...everyone should do it around the time 2 week mark after your app is received by new delhi, and again when you get your first copy of caips..

just to protect your self

so that way if you get an interview or anything is delayed you know right away, and what corrective action to take

Looks like NewDelhi is making the processing quicker... you can see people getting it in less than 3 months.... Go ND go.... give it to all of us here....Vish....let me know if you have any updates .... I am a week behind you... just following..and cheering you up!!!! come on!!!

Its a 30 days wait, however, in my case they are attempting to rush it.

hey def col mate.... File Received on 15th Jan... It still says "Application Received"...hoping it will change soon..

Hey Man, these days ND does not send AOR by mail, so you will only know if your status has changed by checking ecas, check it once a day and suddenly you will see that your status is in App received and give it 2-4 weeks from that you should see in process.
