Same here, the applicant will get her file ID through a PPR..that is the trend....
But sometimes ND sends AOR and it contains file no.
May be they have changed the trends these days. They are priviledged people to work in their own style

May be this is the sign that something is happening with the file..... ;)
May be someone more experince here can put some light on it???????????

am thinking, there are doing a major batch update in Ecas. Need to see responces from other users to see if something is changing................

Since when you status on E-CAS says "In Process"?

My E-CAS was updated to "Application Received" on 3rd March 2011 and earlierly it was say "Not Available".

Thanks for your reply.
Yes they work diffrently for different files.....to few they repond early and to few they just sit on....
these days they have Global file management system. If they have more load at one Visa office, they designate few files to some other visa office or to CIC, canada office which definately delays decisions for those particular files in my veiw.
I read this in Canada Parliament discussions last week.
Anyways i am hoping for the best and this wait game is killing............

Global file management system - we would be surprised to know if CHC ND even has a "file management system"
If they did they should be following...FIFO..first in first out...in all their communications at least, which is not the case..there its like AGO..anything goes out..

Guys, they removed my medicals received line too. what the hell?? Mine is almost gonna be 6months in the next 2weeks, since my file is fwded to ND. Now instead of updating to Complete, they remove Medical results received line.. whats happening??? am so impatient..

whats happening?? Do I ve to redo my medicals??? My medicals shud be valid till May 31st 2011...

I think everyone lost that line, mine was there earlier today and not , medical received is missing. It's most likely just a glitch or something...

Guess they ve removed that line from all applns, where status is not COMPLETE. 4Destiny, urs is Decision Made right?? Do u ve the Medical results line still?

No it says application received and the medical line is gone this evening I am not sure what is happening with them.

oh.. earlier it was Decision Made right?? So did they change the status also 4m decision made to appln received??

Ya it changed back to applican received last week but I don't trust ecas anymore. I think it's not ND who change status.

oh.. this is ridiculous.. even if ecas changes to Complete or Decision made, we cannot be happy till we receive our visas in hand.. Looks like they can revert back the status anytime :P this is absurd.. Why do they ve something called ECAS then?
