i m new 2 this forum ,i m reading this forum from last 6 mnths,it help me lot.i m in canada n i sponsored my wife in india.
here is my time line for others in this forum
1 filed @ cpc oct 7 2010
2 approved spons nov 5 2010(28 days)
3 @ chc delhi nov 15 2010
4 ppr dec14
5 2nd ppr dec 23 n originals back
6 pp sent next day
7 ecas updated to complete on valentines day
8 pp back feb 21 2011 with visa
toal time 4 months 15 days

i wonder what is the diffrence between time line for indivisual......if someone has a kids is it faster??or is there any techniques to make faster( like clear documents....handwritings are clear and beautiful..)..lol...

Friday day 103 - no PPR :-(

So I got a small story of more incompentence on behalf of ND. So my husband appointed me rep back in Jan. Faxed form to them, got correspondence after that on his behalf. Then u sent a request abt something an effin long time ago... TODAY they shoot me some stupid SH** email telling me they cant answer me because they never received a form and privacy blah blah blah. I was so angry I shot back a letter telling them to get their crap together cuz they are screwing with ppls lives....

I wish i had brought my wife here on a tourist visa and applied from here.

Did they mention what to bring to the interview and if you would have to be there or on the phone? i would expect these details to be in the letter...

Yeah New Delhi is really stupid.. Since I ve appointed a representative, even though am the applicant, am not authorized to get info on my status .. my lawyer is sending oly emails and not sending CSE.. New Delhi is so lazy and not replying to my lawyer.. but replying to me saying that am not authorized to get the status.. What the hell.. am so frustrated..

I wish i had brought my wife here on a tourist visa and applied from here.

fPrince, even if u had applied, ND will never issue tourist visa for a wife whose husband is a PR or canadian citizen.. U knw I applied for my tourist visa after my husband applied for my PR.. I mentioned that my PR is in progress, it l take quite a lot of time, so i would like to visit him for 5weeks n return back. I submitted my leave approval from my HR, submitted all other proofs.. but they simply rejected saying that they dont trust that il return back. STUPID PPL. They make us waitttttttttttttttt to join our spouses. they make our life hell.

I am getting tired of this waiting and can you please tell me what is difference between email and CSE and which one of these two is quicker to get response and how long does it take for them to get back to my lawyer for an email that was sent two weeks ago.

I applied for visitor visa in jan 2009 and i was granted visa for 6 months.
I applied visitor visa in jan.2011 and they rejected it. They said that they dont think I shall come back.

I have long history of foreign visits and never rejected a visa except from CHC, ND in jan.2011. I was so shocked.

Dont worry, am sure ur PPR letter is in transit to ur lawyer. I hope he is in canada, thats why it takes lot of time. Case Specific Enquiry is a form wherein u fill the details, and ask for the status. Since it directly goes to the visa officer (I assume that way), it is replied faster generally. Also my lawyer was in montreal, and it took exactly 20days for my PPR letter to reach them. It was dated dec 2nd and they received it on dec 22nd.. so U have 1more week. Just dont worry. Am sure ur PPR is on its way. THEY CANNOT REJECT HER VISA.. NO REASON.. HOW CAN THEY REJECT ONE, when the relationship is so genuine.. so dont worry 4destiny.

same happened to my wife,
her visa was rejected saying that she will not come back
