Yes, from what i have seen here..they do visa in week, then do parents, etc etc..when they do the spouse class we all will have fast updates in the same week..lets all hope for it

Well its logical, since spring is near they would get a lot of visitor visa apps, this and that..student visa's ...so i guess they are a bit behind..
but from what they are doing, its unpredictable..some ppl apply in Jan and they already got their PPR ..a few from sept still are in que..no idea how the system works..just hope everyone gets it

See this is my confusion..mine is a very straight forward case..at least i thought.
no foreign travel, i came to india for my engagement and wedding, phone bills, certificates everything is in order...still no idea what happened..no, she did not even change the name on the PP.
either its a postal delay or they are processing mine after they did yours..in my case i think they just changed to in process and did not send out a letter yet..cos its been 18 days since in process.
She is a bit frustated..at least if she gets the letter she will be busy from then on..i will be patient and hope for the best..this letter, is it a A4 size one ( which cant be lost that easily ) or is it a bank statement kinda letter?

The PPR letter itself is a A4 size letter but the envelope that it comes in is a normal bank statement kinda envelope, thats what it sucks. What does it take to just write a line in Ecas likr : PPR sent on this and this date that way one doesn't keep waiting.

This week has really been quiet.we have lots of members who are inactive on the forum from long,that way its hard to trend the working of ND

Dear Friend,
Can you please tell me the date of the PPR, when it was posted and when it was receieved?
we are assuming 15-20 days transit ..and since my wife is in banglore i am assuming it might take close to 15 days to get the letter...do let us know how fast you got it ..

Received PPR letter today, March 3, 2011. Letter was posted 24th Feb. (MUMBAI).

Yours is a much bigger wait..have you ever tried emailing them asking for what is happening?
from my gut feeling..files which moved to ND during Nov/Dec is somewhere and they have started to process files which came to them in Feb..cos most of them whose file went to ND in Mid Jan and Feb have already had their PPR..a few ppl like you, me and some others have been approved in 2010 but still no clue as to what ND is doing..i think by next week they will clear the backlog from 2010..lets hope for the best.

On the CIC website I noticed that the processing times for New Delhi VO is now shown as 6 months. Earlier they used to have some stats like

3Months - 40%
6MOnths - 80%

Did anyone else notice the change? Thoughts?
