I am just wondering about the timeline that you have posted in your profile...
You have applied on 01-Feb-2012...
Your file transfer says 07-Feb-2012 :o
How come CPC-Mississauga can approve your file in just 6 days and send it to New Delhi ? ???

but PPR has taken 108 days in New Delhi, which is again very unusual for your timeline as other Feb-Jan applicants have got it in about 10 days or so.....

Typo in my profile settings. I just corrected it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention Vengat83.
Any idea if my wife should be including a prepaid self addressed DHL envelope when sending her PP to CHC-ND?

ha ha...thanks...i maintain an excel so I was looking at the dates.
No, you dont have to attach any self addressed envelope.
Just the passport + rprf fee receipt (if you haven't paid that before itself) + ppr letter that they sent you now

Hi Vengat83,

May b u can help with some suggestions...I got this reply from my local MP here last week "Please be advised that we have received everything on this application and expect to finalise it soon. The decision and the passport will be mailed to the applicant through registered post soon. Till then, she is requested to await our contact."

And my wife missed a call this week from a newdelhi no. +42723691 i compared this with the no. which are posted on CIC ND website which are not matching and not in sequence of those numbers. Looking at the feedback which i got from my MP itseems they received everything on my wife's application and when they said "soon" i donno when that soon happens...Based on your exp what will be ur feedback on these?

I got almost the same reply from my MP, but to them, the soon was "4 weeks".
2 weeks have already been past. 2 more weeks to go and then I will send one more enquiry through MP as he suggested.

Hmmm thanks hope for the best and gud luck to u as well...

When they said "They received everything" means it includes background check, criminal check, documentation work etc... i believe isin't it

that I am not sure....but extensive background and security checks and all will be done only on a need basis I guess.
the police clearance certificate that we are giving is a valid proof for criminality check.

Thanks for your response Vengat83. Any idea how long CHC-ND is taking these days for straightforward applications (no travel history and complete documentation) after PPR?

Thanks a lot Vengat.

I know there are many here who are already waiting since long...
I just wanted to say HI to all and get added to the list. ???
I applied for my wife's visa on 20th March 2012.
Since than I am seeing waiting time on CIC website is getting longer and longer for step 1.
Any guesses what is the cause?
Anyone here who just got 1st step cleared?

All,

Is it correct that New Delhi does not send PPR request via mail any more if we have put down our email address on application form ?

Really appreciate if some one can help us with this.

Thanks
