So far only one notification from ND has been sent by email which is PP request and nothing after that

On the applicant Ecase its showing

We received your application for permanent residence on January 11, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

so where do you see APP in Process? do you search by FIle number or UIC. any particular link? because when i put my wife info with FIle number it still shows we received your app for PR and same applies when i put my info with UIC

I have sponsor my wife and ND has asked for the passport on 14th of February 2012 and within a 1 week time, i have send the passport to ND,
Do i suppose to get in AOR of Passport, i haven't received any feedback after i have send the passport. what to do?

Please Help !! :'(

After Submitting the passport, how long it would take for issuing the visa? the process is longer than i expected? you guys thinks there is a chances of interview.

ND asked for a passport on 12th February, and we send the passport within a week time, is there anyway i can email ND, and ask them, ot should i wait, i am pretty confused what to do in this matter, it is over a 2 months now, and i haven't heard anything back from them.

Hey am4life, ND doesn't send anything or an AOR saying that they've received the passport. Hopefully you sent the passport via a courier company and were given a tracking number.

"How long it would take for issuing the visa? Every case is dealt differently by ND. It could be anytime really. You might have noticed that afew of us here on this forum have been waiting quite a long time after sending in the passport. We had to send in additional documents too.

As for interview...if they feel you haven't given enough evidence on your marriage and/or are doubting something in your application then there is a chance of an interview.

Please please please come on CHC ND give us good news !!!

If your case is simple and straight forward than you can except your shining visa very soon, can you share your e-cas status please. Kindly have a look on 2011 processing time @ CHC ND ;-

20% Cases has been finalized in 2 months.
30% Cases has been finalized in 2 months.
50% Cases has been finalized in 3 months.
70% Cases has been finalized in 5 months.
80% Cases has been finalized in 6 months.
10% cases has no fixed timeline and can take more than a year due to extreme BCs.

Application (e-CAS) status will be the same from initial stage to end and the information automatically updates with Applicant/Sponsor client ID, File number...etc.

P.S : There will be no variation among the status but sometimes you can witness weird address appearance/disappearance/double line in the sponsor or applicant status !

Updates: Status went to INPROCESS today in 20days after submitting passport to ND

Atleast something is going on with my file in ND...Thnk god

I can look ecase in three places i m the sponsor so i can login with my UCI ID, when my wife(Sponsored person) received PPR she received Application No. and UCI no. and both the ecase shows same application received bla bla bla....

so where do you see in process in your case. because on mine it shows app received oct 21 blah blah blah

Inprocess shows on my UCI ID(there are two sections 1. Sponsor eligibility(Decision made) 2. Sponsored person(which shows Inprocess)
Inprocess also shows on my Wife's UCI ID and also when i logged into her Application No.

ITS BEEN TAKING LONGER .... DONT WORRY BE PATIENT .... IF IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS SINCE U APPLIED CALL UR M.P. IN CANADA TO ASK CIC ABOUT UR CASE. THATS ALL U CAN DO. . . . THERE IS NOTHING U CAN DO TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS.
